5. Discuss and demo ways to stop the email
madness
Discuss and demo ways to stop the
document hoarding
Find easier, faster, better ways to work!
6. We use email for:
Communications (Announcements)
Document storage (Contract Management)
Approval workflows (Hey will you review this?)
Historical reference (CYA)
Task tracking (What do I need to get done
today?)
Polls – Where should we go for the holiday party?
Surveys – Add an entry to this attached excel
spreadsheet
And on and on…..
7. Excuses:
Communications (Didn’t see it)
Document storage (No one else knows it exists)
Approval workflows (We have three people out on
vacation at once?!)
Historical reference (My replacement can’t find it)
Task tracking (Too many things to track, what are my
priorities? )
Polls – I compiled 6 answers – am I missing any?
Surveys – someone has to compile 15 excel
spreadsheets
11. The problem statement:
• Benefits info comes in to a
benefits admin with multiple
attachments, every time there is
a new client
• The admin has to validate the
documents and distribute
accordingly for approval
15. • Similar template “Save email attachments to SharePoint library” if
you don’t need the extra ‘review’ step
• Flows can run from modern or classic views, but the flow button
won’t show in the ribbon on classic
• Email signatures with a graphic will also add that graphic to the
library with your attachment
• Browse the templates to help you get started
16. #2 – SharePoint LasVegas style
(What goes to SharePoint,
stays in SharePoint)
22. • Flows can run from modern or classic views, but the flow
button won’t show in the ribbon on classic
• Make sure you’ve closed your document before you send for
review (good practice, but also it presents status update)
• Browse the templates to help you if your approval process is
more complex

30. • The Flow app has to be
installed on the mobile device
(and logged in) to receive alerts
• Demo to your users with
Apowersoft
31. • Combine native SharePoint functionality with Flow
to create easy business processes
• Use your mobile app for notifications, tracking,
AND building flows
• Look for third party integrations to help with things
like eSignature workflows
35. • Flow integration with Planner and Teams
• Flow Button widgets for iOS and Android
• Flow integration with OneDrive for Business (First Release only)
