sort environment. Review daily operational reports to maintain productivity and performance.
 Supports Air Hub Planning Processes. Participates in daily pre-sort meetings to discuss prior sort
results and obtain current sort operational plans. Ensures proper staffing levels and placement meets
volume projections. Communicates cross-functionally to maximize Air Hub sort synergy. Addresses
unique sorting situations to implement adjustments that support a successfuloperation.
 Evaluates Air Hub Safety and Compliance. Addresses safety compromises to mitigate injuries and
accidents. Distributes safety material to reinforce safe work methods. Reviews training and work
observation documentation to verify compliance with UPS and regulatory requirements.
 Analyzes Air Hub Performance Results. Reviews operational performances to assess productivity,
service, and financial performances. Engages in cost review sessions to understand cost drivers and
identify improvement areas and help develop corresponding solutions.
 Supervises and Develops Others. Currently manages 25 part-time supervisors and 180 hourly
employees. Conducts performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to

 Monitor all flight activity within a sector for exceptions, such as aircraft mechanical failures, severe

 Coordinate plans and make decisions that utilize airline assets,such as aircraft and crews,to minimize
service exceptions that could have a financial impact to UPS and our customers.

This includes researching the most cost-effective way to place aircraft back in the network if removed
by exception.
