2. Officially called the Palace
of Westminster, the
Houses of Parliament is the
physical home of British
politics.
The UK Parliament consists of
three parts: The House of
Commons, the House of Lords and
the Monarch.
3. The Houses of
Parliament has a number
of school trips on a daily
basis with a specialist
Educational Centre
designed to make the trip
as safe, practical and
educational as possible.
The Centre has bespoke
themed learning spaces and
an immersive ‘discovery’
space with 360 virtual tour
tailored to KS1 or KS2.
4. Notable curriculum links can
be made under a ‘Houses of
Parliament’ topic that could
stretch across a half term
period, including a whole year
trip.
We have decided to
focus on History, Art and
Drama.
