- 3. Sustainability In business, sustainability refers to doing business without negatively impacting the environment, community, or society as a whole. Ques-1: What wastage we have created in the development process? Ques-2: How we can recycle, reduce and reuse those wastage instead of throwing it away? Steps: 1. Precheck – 4 to 6 pages paper to 0 pages 2. Polybags – individual packing around 3 poly to 1 poly So, we want your help to establish rule and regulation to reduce waste.

- 8. Being Paperless Environmental Impact Of Paper The paper has many long-term effects. Dependence on paper contributes to climate change, and deforestation can occur as a detrimental effect of using too much paper in the office. Forests are cleared to make way for other projects. This can displace numerous animals while also disrupting the natural ecosystem. Start-ups would do well to consider the impact of paper in their office place. Adopting a paperless model can appeal to clients and the general public as well, putting a positive and socially conscious spin on the start-up brand.

Currently 3 poly bag used for a style: one poly for inline one poly for FE one poly for inline +FE together Suggestion for one poly: One poly bag for Inline + FE or local asia + mock strike off (If any) 360 Sample of BD developer: You can use one poly bag for all color up style. No need to use multi-polybags/ individual pack. Reduce Polybag
- 10. Reduce FE Sample - 3D Avatar FE Resizing Virtual sample Approval is another area that could reduce sampling wastage. 3D Avatar of FE Male Model already available to all our supplier. For SS22, we will assign some Men’s styles for 3D virtual sample approval.
- 11. Recap: Please follow the below instruction during sample submission of SS22 onwards: All the seal + sizeset sample should come to tech. team without any printed precheck form. Sample precheck (soft copy) should attached into PAC style wise. Instead of printed precheck, please use sample card. To find the sample easily, sample card must be clearly visible after pack the sample. For the embellishment - measurement and grading should come through EMC in PAC instead of printed paper. PUMA CFT will be responsible to implement this process and other team member will help them.

Recap: Please follow the below instruction during sample submission of SS22 onwards: Exception for Mockups and Development sample: • Hard copy of Precheck needed for mock up & development sample. • The precheck must be one page with bothside print. Front side precheck form and back side should have MC. • Wastage paper encouraged to reuse. Polybags: • Use one polybag for FE and color up sample Reduce FE Sample - 3D Avatar • We will advise style numbers for FE 3D sample

- My presentation divided into four main sections. Firstly,,, secondly,,, 3rd,,,,, and finally
- Lets Talk about sustainability,,, what is sustainability,,, Beginning of the year Sharon gives us the task to investigate how we can reduce wastage considering sustainable approach , Then 2 question arises,,,,,,, And we noticed that we receive precheck ,,,,,, So we have idea for being paperless and reduce the use of Polybags to avoid wastage and by taking these small steps we can save our environment. And to achieve the target,,,, Let's now move on to/turn to next slide
- As per our regular practice, these sorts of hard copy precheck attached while you are submitting seal sample and sizeset. Which is about 4-6 pages, printing wastage also can reduce. We can save power and energy
- Let’ us look at first picture,,,,,,,this is a snap shot from pac system,, where we Digitally upload fitting pic, precheck and EMC. So whatever information we need we can get it easily from here. And we feel that hard copy of precheck – no need anymore for Puma Bangladesh technical team. This means for seal sample and sizeset sample – pls don’t use any hard copy of precheck. And for our developer counter- we need to discuss and finalize later on. Puma always encourage for smarter and faster work. Digitalization on PAC system is to help you to become Smart Factory
- Now I will focus on,,, first image,, this is a sample format that shows the information which we want to be on the proposed tag. Mr. Sakawat already sent mail to you for the sample card, but unfortunately some of the supplier till now didn’t get back to us. So we would request you to give us feedback asap. Note that you have to follow this tag from SS22 seal sample submission,,,, and As you don’t have much time,,,,,,, On the second image,,,I have added an ideal sample card which you may follow but ensure to have Puma Logo and all the information that first image shows.
- At last I believe that all of you know that papers are made from trees. So By reducing precheck papers, I believe we can give a little effort to save the natural ecosystem. And I personally felt very ensthusiatic while I was preparing these slides and felt thankful to GOD to share the message to save our forests,
- So, 3rd topic Asper current practice Inline style have one poly+ local asia one poly + inline & local both again in one poly . 3 poly bags used for a style. So it must be reduced to one poly. Here I would like to ask, Ms. Farhin, our development manager - is the one poly bag is feasible for your team?
- I’d now like to move on to final topic For all CFT also should prepare for virtual fitting over 3D sample and follow up for 3D sample and MC approval instead of physical sample.
