Main Responsibilities :
1) Overall in charge of the entire warehouse operation covering goods receipt,
quality control, inventorization, order processing, packing and distribution.
2) Material management and control through efficient warehouse support
activities and functions.
3) Effective inventory management and proper conduct of yearly stock check
according to the company’s audit requirements.
4) Carry out stock reconciliations and adjustments when necessary to ensure a
reliable and accurate inventory, ie stock in computer system matches actual
physical stock holding.
5) Leading and managing a team of 7 warehouse assistants and supervisor on a
daily basis to perform the various operational functions of the warehouse,
including work scheduling, allocation and approval of overtime work to meet
operational demands and target.
6) Providing coaching, mentoring, counselling and motivating warehouse
assistants for work improvement and staff retention reasons.
7) Conduct yearly performance appraisal of warehouse staff for recommendation
of salary adjustments to the HR dept.
8) Involvement in the recruitment and selection of new warehouse support staff,
including providing orientation, training and knowledge impartation.

9) Fulfilling financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling
expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
10) Dealing with vendors like freight forwarders and also conduct warehouse
visits.
11) Ensuring the overall sound operation of the warehouse,in terms of warehouse
physical structures,operating systems and equipment, warehouse security and
its enforcement to prevent loss and pilferage of the company’s luxury goods.
12) Ensuring staff competency to maintain a high standard of operational
efficiency and customer support satisfaction.
Some accomplishments,but not limited to :
1) Continually managing the Gucci warehouse effectively with a highly motivated
and dedicated team of warehouse assistants in meeting all of the company’s
logistics and warehouse support requirements to the satisfaction of the Gucci
management.
2) No losses of goods reported for a continual period of 11 years running for stock
take results at the warehouse.
3) Successfully executed overseas project assignment in Australia; setup warehouse
for Gucci Australia, including establishing warehouse workflow, processes,
systems and staff training.
4) Successfully executed oversea project assignment in Malaysia, setup standard
operating procedures for Gucci Malaysia for freight forwarders and warehouse
operation.
Reasons for leaving: Retrenched due to outsourcing ofwarehouse function to 3rd
Party Logistics service provider in February 2014.

With a total combined working experience of more than 34 years in warehouse operation and physical inventory
management, I strongly believe that I am able to contribute to any company’s warehouse operational needs if
there is a vacancy for a warehouse operations manager or supervisor position . It has been my area of
specialization, expertise and interest all these years. I have enjoyed my working life well in all my previous jobs
