It is my pleasure to recommend Rotem Douer for a position within the field of human services. Rotem
successfully completed an internship with us at The Salvation Army in Santa Monica for 100 hours.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Rotem, and came to know him as a truly valuable asset to
our team. He is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working. Beyond that, he showed himself to be
very patient and understanding when serving clients.
Rotem gained significant knowledge and expertise in administering direct services through our social
services. Not only was he instrumental in assisting clients with basic needs such as food, clothing, and
hygiene; Rotem quickly began to implement the knowledge he gained about partner agencies in the
community in making effective referrals. By the end of his internship, Rotem was able to staff our social
service window alone. Rotem also expanded on his knowledge-base with practical experience
shadowing our veteran’s rapid rehousing case managers. As he assisted them in processing their cases
and sat in on interviews, he experienced a more comprehensive and in-depth case management
environment.
Along with his aptitude, Rotem was also a joy to work with. He is a true team player, and connected
quickly with other employees and always conducted himself professionally. He showed himself to be
eager, reliable, and punctual in his time with us.
