Children’s benefit from after School Programs
Infant Program
For students 6 weeks - 1 year old, we offer the benefit of
daily interaction with caring, nurturing teachers. They
also have the opportunity to interact with other infants,
during this important stage of development. Our
youngest students seem to enjoy our infant program.
Toddlers Program
Students 1 year old - 2 years old can enjoy our toddlers
program. In this program, they focus on critical early
learning skills, which are best developed in an
atmosphere where independence is encouraged. Their
building curiosity will be satisfied here
Primary Program
For children between 2 – 3 years old we offer a primary
program that focuses on language, math, science, and
social development. In addition, we help children
discover new things and develop self-help and motor

Preschool Program
At 3 - 4 years old, we teach students essential knowledge and
skills, which are a foundation to future success in school. At

hours. After our bus picks up your child from school,

Montessori Curriculum Activities
Key areas of Montessori Curriculum
Concepts in math, language, science and social studies, combine seamlessly,
to provide a rich environment for exploration and discovery. Through individual,
rather than group instruction, children gain independence and confidence.
Our mixed age classrooms begin at age 3, as in predominant in the Montessori classroom;
allowing children of different ages and development observe and learn
from one another.
Take a close look inside our Montessori classrooms in Frisco, and you will find
children engaged in activities of their choice, guided by a carefully planned
methodology of learning. The Montessori approach, first developed by Dr. Maria
Montessori in 1907, is based on her scientific observations of the optimal
environment in which children develop critical cognitive, emotional and social
skills.

Physical Education Program
At Rosewood we live by the philosophy that
healthy bodies lead to healthy minds!
Toddlers to afterschoolers benefit from a P.E. curriculum that
brings fun and learning to a new level.
At Rosewood Academy, we understand that the development of gross motor skills is vital
for young children. Not only does physical activity lead to better overall health, but it is
also critical in brain development. Coach Bonner makes the most of weekly classroom
themes by incorporating the themes into his P.E. lessons - expanding learning to new
heights!
Experienced physical education coach, Anthony Bonner joins the Rosewood
team, bringing planned and purposeful fun and learning to Rosewood's
curriculum. Weekly lessons for each grade level from toddlers and up enjoy
Coach Bonner's fun, yet meaningful teaching style.

 Week 8 July 25-29: Creative Campers
 Week 9August 1-5: Moovin & Groovin
 Week 10August 8-12: Lego Adventures
 Week 11 August 15-19: Mad Science
Children ages 5 to 12 jump into action with adventures in spy kids antics, jurassic
journey, lego, mad science, arts or exploring the world cuisine. Campers explore
nature, the community, performing and creative arts,
and taking part in group activities as they work on team building skills
- all while attending special events and field trips.
Summer Camp activities are 5 days each week, from 6:30 am – 6:30 pm.
We offer a range of indoor and outdoor activities and we have a dedicated physical
fitness coach on staff at each location and even our own splash park to cool off in
Carrollton.
