Plan, carry out, and assess developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 4 months to 1.5 years like
sports,water play, role play and literacy based learning and experiences in harmony with the blossom’s

Plan and prepare daily activities that support emotional and social development of children like rules and
safety.
Combining play and interactive activities with an increasing focus on early academic learning, including letter
recognition, phonics, numbers and an awareness of science and nature.
Consider safety is priority and reassures that the environment is healthy and safe for children.
Establish and carry out a daily activity schedule that incorporates child directed activity, care routines,
transition times and covers all areas and goals of early year’s foundation stage.
Engaging and encouraging activities planning including reading a story,music, singing and dancing, drama,
role play and arts and crafts.
Consider the environment first and working on triple P projects within the nursery in making different arts and
crafts.
Organize space,equipment and materials before activities to aid learning processes run smoothly.
Assist children in expressing themselves by listening and responding with questions or comments that extend
conversations.
Use a variety of teaching techniques including modeling, observing, questioning,demonstrating and
reinforcing positive behaviors with understanding of child’s need.
Encourage and assist children to practice self help in a daily routine like eating, dressing and toilet training.
Prepare reports for parents or guardians on a weekly basis with a written observation.Confer with parents
regarding their children progress and improvement needs.
Documenting reports and records in the nursery. Observe children for any behavioral changes,children with
learning ability as exceeding, emerging and expecting levels and children with special need with extra attention.
