2. There are marvelous nature sights that have to be seen to be believed. One example is the
world’s colorful lakes – a spectacle that has to be appreciated up close. Venture out of busy New
York or the bustling metropolis, pack your bags, and visit some of these colorful wonders.
Australia’s Lake Hillier: It’s a bubblegum pink pool situated on Middle Island, off the south coast
of Western Australia. What’s even more amazing is that the water doesn’t lose its color even
when taken out of the lake.
Bolivia’s Laguna Verde: This salt lake boasts of changing colors depending on the season of
the year, from an inviting turquoise to a dingy jade. Mineral deposits are responsible for the
changing shades of this lake, found in western Altiplano and close to the Chilean border.

Iceland’s Blue Lagoon: Perhaps the most popular in this list are Iceland’s famous geothermal
pool that packs in the crowds for its emerald water, formed through silica, algae, and minerals.
The swimming experience is quite relaxing and invigorating, too.
China’s Five Flower Lake: Located at Jiuzhaigou National Park, this lake is a major attraction
that features clear turquoise water shining amid the foliage’s backdrop. It’s striking all the way
down to the floor of the lake.
New Zealand’s Gem Green Lake: Tongariro is famed not just for being the country’s oldest
national park, but also for this lake that has emerald waters, a pigmentation that comes from the
ash and rock particles fusing and blending into the water.
