Accomplishments: Managed technical software development for a $100M+ J2EE
WebSphere application as the Application Architect and Framework Track Manager.
Designed, managed and helped implement Java frameworks, code generation tools and
messaging services. Developed architecture that was evaluated by Sun Java Center as
one of the best. Introduced core J2EE patterns and applied Java patterns during design
and implementation. Evolved application to standards-based Service-Oriented
Architecture (SOA) including web services (SOAP/HTTP and SOAP/JMS), business process
execution language (BPEL), and Portal. Application included integration to mainframe and
third-party applications through IBM WebSphere, MQSeries, MQ Integrator and Partner
Agreement Manager; employed extensive use of XML; online and batch Java services
with integrated framework support; Servlets, JSP and EJB; Oracle (connect accounts,
replication, partitioning); custom eligibility rules engine interpreter using XML decision
tables; and, a persistent driver workflow engine. Crafted and enforced modeling
standards that defined requirements management, traceability, and design constructs in
Rational tools as QA Manager. Orchestrated load and stress testing of a large scale J2EE
application (12,000 users), analyzed results and managed improvement changes.
Integrated performance metrics collection and analysis efforts between client and
consulting using tools, such as OpenSTA, Mercury, PerformAssure and Empirix.
Represented Deloitte on an Integrated Eligibility architecture team that re-engineered
automation and technical infrastructure during a major agency reorganization occurred.

process methodology (FASTup™), enterprise resources (FASTer™), and a Java
framework with code generation capabilities (FAST4J™). These processes, best practices,
frameworks, and tools were incorporated into the Systems Integration Delivery
Transformation (SIDT) organization for firm-wide standardization and use. Several
engagements have successfully used these productivity enhancers, achieving cost
savings and mitigating substantial risk for project profitability. The Health and Human
Services (HHS) practice leveraged FAST™ to build a new service-oriented solution.

Accomplishments: Lead team through modeling essential use cases, business
components and component interactions for customer, driver, voter, title owner and
vehicle registration processes along with licensing of dealerships, repair facilities, salvage
agents and mechanics. Used UML notation and custom use case specification template
for requirements capture. Authored enterprise architecture governance processes,
project methodology based upon Rational Unified Process (RUP), technology catalog,
selected standards and products for e-government initiatives and applied software
patterns to design of e-government application frameworks. Assembled a client-
independent Enterprise-Wide Technical Architecture (EWTA) for use within the firm.
Developed and delivered curriculum that transferred UML and technical architecture
