 Co-Designed and Implemented Enterprise Wide Collaboration and Portalapplications for Ally Financial
Incorporated. Utilized cutting edge MSFT technologies such as SharePoint 2013, MetaLogix Replicator and SQL
Server 2012. Also assisted in creating on-going application sustain and governance model around the adoption of
SharePoint sites within the firm
 Architected and sized all of the entire SharePoint environments. Designed all of the new policies around access
and content distribution to external 3 party suppliers and external contractors thru firewall rules advanced
authentication policies
 Designed, installed, implemented Tableau Suite (Desktop & Tableau Server version 7.X) across the Enterprise
Legal Advisor Group which Sustained and supported 40 + Tableau users, including performance optimization and

 Created back end and disaster recovery solution for Ally Capital Markets Mortgage Modeling/Trading/Analytics
application. Solved for diminishing share space for history analytics files and increased throughput on reads and
writes on the performance side.
 Implemented Bloomberg Gateway.Net Professionalproduct for Broker Dealer Group. This allows for a reduction
in SFTP support of batch programs and allows for real time inserts into their front Sales Logix application
 Completed a Broker Dealer Management Reporting database that provides senior management and regulatory
bodies proprietary trade data. Developing Schemas and integrating it with the Cognos BI reporting platform.
 Active member within Enterprise Architecture group in the development an in-take methodology for all new
software being proposed in the firm. Assisted in Created a process that includes tollgates or quality gates in
associate to the APEXsoftware methodology.
 Documented migration path and was lead application contact for the migration of 5 business lines applications
(75 in total) out of production data center (Lewisville Tx) to a new production data center(Carrollton, Tx and DR-
San Antonio)
 Documented and lead the effort for 5 business lines for Ally Financial Inc. in the chapter 11 separation from Ally-
RESCAP (Mortgage Business). Many of the applications and market data providers were implemented in shared
environments across Ally Financial and RESCAP. I had to separate the vendors first and then reestablish
contracts with supply chain for Ally Financial Inc and then eventually solution a new feeds.
 Provide on-going guidance and oversight on all software implementations around information security, regulatory
adherence and technology infrastructure stack configurations. Co-Authored Enterprise Infrastructure stack pattern
for Ally Financial Incorporated
 After one year of service, Ally revamped the solution architect responsibilities and role based on my approach to
include a more hands on approach with the technology service delivery teams and LOB.
 Solely Implemented severalLegal and Communication platforms with respects to Legal E-Discovery process for
the Corporate Technology business group. I was the lead installer and architect for the Encase E-Discovery
software along with technology infrastructure groups at Ally. I also implemented the Tableau Server reporting
packages for our internal Legal E-discovery reporting requirements
Enterprise Engineering Incorporated May 2011 – November 2011
Senior Consultant/Architect - (Jefferies&Co. Inc. – Investment Bank and Brokerage Group)
 Created and Managed a Technology Assessment of Jefferies & Co. Inc. Corporate Information Technology
Infrastructure Group. An Enterprise Infrastructure Group that supports all of Jefferies Investment Bank, Trading
and Brokerage groups for all server infrastructure, database administration, storage, network, monitoring and
help desk services.
 Documented a detailed assessment on all of Jefferies& Co. Inc. current state infrastructure, database
administration policies and procedures,database performance benchmarking, storage strategy and virtualization,
change management policies, network operating center practices and monitoring toolsets.
 Additional tasks associated to database included capturing and reviewing a portion of production SQL and
providing performance benchmarks and trend analysis on RDBMS.
 Reviewed Initialization Parameters across the top 15 Oracle,SQL Server and Sybase production database
instances and provided performance and efficiency recommendations.
 Reviewed all Database Administration Run-Book procedures across Oracle,SQL Server and Sybase databases.
Provided recommendations on specific areas such as backups, disaster recovery policies, database threshold
monitoring and RDBMS tool utilization.
 Conducted two separate proof of concept vendor software selections across enterprise database software patching
and enterprise database monitoring software.
 Conducted and documented individual skill set evaluations of the entire Corporate IT Database Administration
Group. Recommendations were made around tool utilization, training & adaptability, entity relationship
modeling, security policies and procedures and overall aptitude across each RDBMS.
 Coordinated and Conducted 12 application development team interviews to assess the development group’s
SDLC structure, information sharing practices and general service level requirements with Corporate IT Database
Administration Group. Documented recommendations for change to the overall support model for Corporate IT
Database Administration Group.
Enterprise Engineering Incorporated February 2010 – April 2011
Senior Consultant/Architect - (Merrill Lynch/ Wealth Management – Managed Assets Group)
 Managed a High Performance Computing Team that was engaged by the Merrill Lynch Architecture
Group in September 2010. The objective at hand was to immediately address the scaling and
performance issues associated to the Charles River Anywhere Application (ver.9.1.4.1) within the
Personal Investment Advisor Pilot Project. Subsequent and on a less tactical front, EEI was to assist in
getting CRD/ML ready for their PIA Pilot rollout of CRA application to 10 PIA advisors in December
2010.
 Completed an initial assessment of the Charles River Anywhere application. Thorough analysis was
done on the Web Portal, Middle and Database Tiers of the CRA application
 A set of 35 initial recommendations were generated across all components and tiers of the Charles River
Anywhere application.
 Recommendations included an array of configuration changes on the database and middle tiers while
also performance tuning a lot of the SQL queries within the Workflow Monitor toolset within the CRA
application.
 40% of the initial recommendations were utilized with performance up-tick of around 35%

Senior Consultant/Architect - (Merrill Lynch/ Wealth Management – Client and Account Data Hub)
 Participated and Managed a Technology Assessment of Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth Management Client and
Account Data Hub Infrastructure. An Enterprise Distributed Application Data hub that supplies client and account
data to all of Merrill Lynch technology platforms. Documented a detailed assessment on current state
infrastructure, performance issues, processes,resources,roles of the Client and Account Data Group. Tasks
included creating performance benchmarks, trend analysis on RDBMS and a complete review of the Change
Management process through the full life-cycle of a release. Also produced was an architectural roadmap for
future state of the Client Data Hub including transition growth with the ML/BOA merger.
 Participated in analysis or Assessment options for High Availability solution for the Client and Account Data
Hub. Utilizing Read and Write thru Caching along with use of the Oracle Coherence tool set.
 Creating and managing a RDBMS migration from Oracle 10g rel 2 to Oracle RAC end state. Also
leading the performance/execution testing from Unix/Solaris E2900’s to IBM/Linux 3950’s. A High
Availability project that requires a service level agreement of zero down time for a enterprise data hub that has
over 20 dependent ML business lines.
 Deployed in September 2010 Phase I of the project which was the actual migration off of Sun Solaris
platform over to IBM/Linux. The initial phase of the project was within 8% variance around cost and
time.
 Provided executive management status reports on a weekly basis along with Database Server trend
analysis on the newly implemented production environment
Bank of America – Columbia Management Alternative Investment Technology August 2007 – February 2009
Senior Vice President - (Technology Executive –Columbia Management Group)
 Provided technical support for Columbia Funds, Columbia Management Group and Columbia Management
Advisors with AUM in excess of $900 billion.
 Active participant on the Senior Management Leadership Team making enterprise level decisions on
Architecture, Program Management, Software Development, Enterprise Shared initiatives and Quality
Control.
 Managed team of60 associatesacross 6 locations (Boston, St Louis, Charlotte,Chicago, Dallas, San
Francisco NYC, and London) in support offront office program ofprojects for the Columbia Management
Portfolio and Trading groups.
 With the Front Office Support of CMG program were multiple trade order management systems. The two
largest platforms were Charles River Investment Management System 7.0 -8.1 for Fixed Income and
Compliance. Linedata Longviewtrading system 6.0-7.0 for Equities.
 Maintained and Managed less than 2% variance on a 11 million dollar annul budget on all technology initiatives
and successfully reduced year over year expenses on “Business As Usual” efforts by 11%.
 Member of the Columbia Management Technology task force team which redesigned the existing technology
support structure to better meet needs of business partners.
 Oversaw stability task force which focused on reinvestment into our core technology platforms and reduced
Severity One production outages by 18%.
 Built an Integrated Initiative/Deployment calendar across the Columbia Management Alternative
Investment technology group which resulted in a 56% reduction in deployment moves and 18% reduction
in error rates.
 Managed and built an integrated portfolio accounting middleware platform that captured and routed all trading
transactions to the appropriate accounting and operations application.
 Co –Managed the integration of Columbia Management trade workflow out of existing Charles Rive IMS with
Bank of America Online Mobile platform. There was a need for the Portfolio Management team to perform
certain trade functions from Mobile devices.
 Supported Internal Columbia Management Compliance group with key risk reporting software and provided feeds
for support of stricter BASEL requirements with Columbia Management.

 Managed the Technical support across equity and fixed income funds, high net worth and SMA space with
AUM of$250 billion. Supported and Maintained Charles River Investment Management System for
Modeling and Execution ofFixed Income portfolios
 Managed team of50+ associates across 3 locations (Denver, NYC and London) in support of front office
investment activity within OFI, OFII and Trinity business lines.
 Member of the Senior Management Leadership Team which made enterprise level decisions on Architecture,
Software Development, Quality Control and shared business ventures. Rational Unified Process was followed
for most front office application development
 Established a “ProofofConcept” model between the application development and Infrastructure. This
model was specific to the front office Investment lines ofbusiness that focused using the “Client Manager”
perspective which advocated everyone that participated in the delivery life cycle ofan application was
aligned to the relationship manager and the LOB goals.
 Managed a program of projects totaling 6 million for the Oppenheimer Investment Group
 Established alternative on/off shore sourcing models. Established a 6-8% “sourcing - keep the lights on”
budgetary line item that was carried through each annual technology budgetary cycle.
 Established a unit testing framework for application architecture/development that reduced # of errors in the front
office by 15%.
 Created a 24 month Investment road map which is the genesis for the future project decision making and its
applicable budgetary cycle.
 Co-established SLA’s with all supporting cast groups in the software delivery lifecycle.The groups
included DBA, Infrastructure, QA,Architecture and more.
 Co-Established the Implementation of the Project Governance and Delivery group. Within 8 months established
the CLARITY product as our centralized model for business, budget and finance metric reporting.
 Organized and streamlined 6 technical groups (development, project management, architecture and
business analysts) into two nimble and efficient software delivery groups utilizing J2EE and .NET

 Managed team of 12 senior developers in 6 separate states in support of Portfolio Modeling, Risk Management
and Trading for the BOA Private Bank and Columbia Asset Management lines of business.
 Supported and implemented multi-front office trading platforms. Managed and maintained Charles River,
MacGregor and Eagle Pace order management systems for Bank ofAmerica Private Bank.
 Prepare and track budgeting on capital plans associated with all projects across the Private Bank and Columbia
Asset Management business.
 Assisted in the construction ofa state-of-the-art desktop application for the Private Bank that enabled

Solved for diminishing share space for history analytics files and increased throughput on reads and writes on the performance side.  Implemented Bloomberg Gateway.Net Professionalproduct for Broker Dealer Group. This allows for a reduction in SFTP support of batch programs and allows for real time inserts into their front Sales Logix application  Completed a Broker Dealer Management Reporting database that provides senior management and regulatory bodies proprietary trade data. Developing Schemas and integrating it with the Cognos BI reporting platform.  Active member within Enterprise Architecture group in the development an in-take methodology for all new software being proposed in the firm. Assisted in Created a process that includes tollgates or quality gates in associate to the APEXsoftware methodology.  Documented migration path and was lead application contact for the migration of 5 business lines applications (75 in total) out of production data center (Lewisville Tx) to a new production data center(Carrollton, Tx and DR- San Antonio)  Documented and lead the effort for 5 business lines for Ally Financial Inc. in the chapter 11 separation from Ally- RESCAP (Mortgage Business). Many of the applications and market data providers were implemented in shared environments across Ally Financial and RESCAP. I had to separate the vendors first and then reestablish contracts with supply chain for Ally Financial Inc and then eventually solution a new feeds.  Provide on-going guidance and oversight on all software implementations around information security, regulatory adherence and technology infrastructure stack configurations. Co-Authored Enterprise Infrastructure stack pattern for Ally Financial Incorporated  After one year of service, Ally revamped the solution architect responsibilities and role based on my approach to include a more hands on approach with the technology service delivery teams and LOB.  Solely Implemented severalLegal and Communication platforms with respects to Legal E-Discovery process for the Corporate Technology business group. I was the lead installer and architect for the Encase E-Discovery software along with technology infrastructure groups at Ally. I also implemented the Tableau Server reporting packages for our internal Legal E-discovery reporting requirements Enterprise Engineering Incorporated May 2011 – November 2011 Senior Consultant/Architect - (Jefferies&Co. Inc. – Investment Bank and Brokerage Group)  Created and Managed a Technology Assessment of Jefferies & Co. Inc. Corporate Information Technology Infrastructure Group. An Enterprise Infrastructure Group that supports all of Jefferies Investment Bank, Trading and Brokerage groups for all server infrastructure, database administration, storage, network, monitoring and help desk services.  Documented a detailed assessment on all of Jefferies& Co. Inc. current state infrastructure, database administration policies and procedures,database performance benchmarking, storage strategy and virtualization, change management policies, network operating center practices and monitoring toolsets.  Additional tasks associated to database included capturing and reviewing a portion of production SQL and providing performance benchmarks and trend analysis on RDBMS.  Reviewed Initialization Parameters across the top 15 Oracle,SQL Server and Sybase production database instances and provided performance and efficiency recommendations.

Provided recommendations on specific areas such as backups, disaster recovery policies, database threshold monitoring and RDBMS tool utilization.  Conducted two separate proof of concept vendor software selections across enterprise database software patching and enterprise database monitoring software.  Conducted and documented individual skill set evaluations of the entire Corporate IT Database Administration Group. Recommendations were made around tool utilization, training & adaptability, entity relationship modeling, security policies and procedures and overall aptitude across each RDBMS.  Coordinated and Conducted 12 application development team interviews to assess the development group’s SDLC structure, information sharing practices and general service level requirements with Corporate IT Database Administration Group. Documented recommendations for change to the overall support model for Corporate IT Database Administration Group. Enterprise Engineering Incorporated February 2010 – April 2011 Senior Consultant/Architect - (Merrill Lynch/ Wealth Management – Managed Assets Group)  Managed a High Performance Computing Team that was engaged by the Merrill Lynch Architecture Group in September 2010. The objective at hand was to immediately address the scaling and performance issues associated to the Charles River Anywhere Application (ver.9.1.4.1) within the Personal Investment Advisor Pilot Project. Subsequent and on a less tactical front, EEI was to assist in getting CRD/ML ready for their PIA Pilot rollout of CRA application to 10 PIA advisors in December 2010.  Completed an initial assessment of the Charles River Anywhere application. Thorough analysis was done on the Web Portal, Middle and Database Tiers of the CRA application  A set of 35 initial recommendations were generated across all components and tiers of the Charles River Anywhere application.  Recommendations included an array of configuration changes on the database and middle tiers while also performance tuning a lot of the SQL queries within the Workflow Monitor toolset within the CRA application.  40% of the initial recommendations were utilized with performance up-tick of around 35% Enterprise Engineering Incorporated February 2010 – February 2011 Senior Consultant/Architect - (Merrill Lynch/ Wealth Management – Client and Account Data Hub)  Participated and Managed a Technology Assessment of Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth Management Client and Account Data Hub Infrastructure. An Enterprise Distributed Application Data hub that supplies client and account data to all of Merrill Lynch technology platforms. Documented a detailed assessment on current state infrastructure, performance issues, processes,resources,roles of the Client and Account Data Group. Tasks included creating performance benchmarks, trend analysis on RDBMS and a complete review of the Change Management process through the full life-cycle of a release. Also produced was an architectural roadmap for future state of the Client Data Hub including transition growth with the ML/BOA merger.  Participated in analysis or Assessment options for High Availability solution for the Client and Account Data Hub. Utilizing Read and Write thru Caching along with use of the Oracle Coherence tool set.  Creating and managing a RDBMS migration from Oracle 10g rel 2 to Oracle RAC end state. Also leading the performance/execution testing from Unix/Solaris E2900’s to IBM/Linux 3950’s. A High Availability project that requires a service level agreement of zero down time for a enterprise data hub that has over 20 dependent ML business lines.
  • 4.  Deployed in September 2010 Phase I of the project which was the actual migration off of Sun Solaris platform over to IBM/Linux. The initial phase of the project was within 8% variance around cost and time.  Provided executive management status reports on a weekly basis along with Database Server trend analysis on the newly implemented production environment Bank of America – Columbia Management Alternative Investment Technology August 2007 – February 2009 Senior Vice President - (Technology Executive –Columbia Management Group)  Provided technical support for Columbia Funds, Columbia Management Group and Columbia Management Advisors with AUM in excess of $900 billion.  Active participant on the Senior Management Leadership Team making enterprise level decisions on Architecture, Program Management, Software Development, Enterprise Shared initiatives and Quality Control.  Managed team of60 associatesacross 6 locations (Boston, St Louis, Charlotte,Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco NYC, and London) in support offront office program ofprojects for the Columbia Management Portfolio and Trading groups.  With the Front Office Support of CMG program were multiple trade order management systems. Linedata Longviewtrading system 6.0-7.0 for Equities.  Maintained and Managed less than 2% variance on a 11 million dollar annul budget on all technology initiatives and successfully reduced year over year expenses on “Business As Usual” efforts by 11%.  Member of the Columbia Management Technology task force team which redesigned the existing technology support structure to better meet needs of business partners.  Oversaw stability task force which focused on reinvestment into our core technology platforms and reduced Severity One production outages by 18%.  Built an Integrated Initiative/Deployment calendar across the Columbia Management Alternative Investment technology group which resulted in a 56% reduction in deployment moves and 18% reduction in error rates.  Managed and built an integrated portfolio accounting middleware platform that captured and routed all trading transactions to the appropriate accounting and operations application.  Co –Managed the integration of Columbia Management trade workflow out of existing Charles Rive IMS with Bank of America Online Mobile platform.
