2. INTRODUCTION
• on May 23, 2016 Meet India's 1st Space Plane Indian Space Research Organization
On May 23, 2016, India launched the first test flight of its Reusable Launch Vehicle
Technology Demonstrator, a winged, unmanned spacecraft that resembles a
miniature space shuttle.
3. IS SPACE RESEARCH WASTE OF
MONEY ?
•Yes, space exploration is a waste of money and resources because we are
base low-life creatures that don’t deserve to explore the celestial heavens.
We just deplete more of Earth’s resources through space exploration.
Waste of oil, fuels, gases, metals, etc…
4. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO SPEND
MONEY ON SPACE EXPLORATION
•Even a fraction of the money spent annually on
space exploration could save millions of people in
poverty-stricken countries, and improve living
conditions for future generations.
•The foundations of the world we live in are largely
based on science and it is indeed vital to extend
our knowledge of the universe.
5. HOW MUCH MONEY IS SPENT ON
SPACE EXPLORATION
• Budget on Space Exploration program is only 1/10 th of
the total GDP of India. Scientific knowledge has value
beyond the measurement of cost. Understanding of how
universe came into being and ultimately how we came
into being cannot be measured in terms of cost. Many
discoveries have been made as a result of space
exploration programs.
6. HOW ARE THE RESOURCES FROM
SPACE BENEFIT TO EARTH
•All of which can have positive effects on Earth.
This also enables, Given enough development
and infrastructure, For resources to be used
from space to benefit Earth. Exploring the sea,
Flying on the skies, Submerging thousands of
meters into the ocean, Etc.
7. DO YOU THINK SPACE RESEARCH IS
NECESSARY OR NEEDLESS
•Though space exploration may seem needless and
unnecessary given the humanitarian problems
Earth is facing in this current moment, we must
simply put our place in the universe into
perspective. There is so much that is unknown
about the world we live in, and space exploration is
the key to finding out more about our existence.
