Female character
            As a group
I would not use this style of clothing in my ‘British Social
Realism’ film opening, because;
 This style is typical for a middle class woman would wear
   and my characters would be teenagers (17-19).
 Not suitable for possible scenes that would be in my film
   opening.
Both of these outfits would be suitable;
 They both fit in with the genre ‘British social realism
 Tracksuits are a stereotype link towards teenagers and
  young people.
 Estates, blocks of flats and council housed people are
  also stereotypically linked to tracksuits and cheap
  clothing.
 The female character will be stereotypically ‘common’, living in a council
    flat, as a group we have chosen to follow these stereotypes to make an
    effective film opening.

 Tracksuits are most likely to be used, if we, as a group go with the running
    scenes to open our film.
