PILLAR 1: PROGRAMME
OPERATIONS AND
FUNCTIONS
At the programme level, programme
management information systems (MISs)
support each programme
implementation phases along the social
protection delivery chain.
Countries offering a variety of social
protection programmes may have
developed tailored MISs to support
functions for each separate programme.

Note that some implementation phases
may not be relevant for some
programmes with no conditionality do not
monitor compliance.
Also, some functions may not be executed
software application. For example, the
