2. INTRODUCTION
• Correlation is a Statistical measure
• It express relationship between two variables
• It is a common tool for describing simple
relationships without making a statement about
cause and effect

3. Correlation
• “ correlation “ means”association “
• It is defined as the relationship between two
variables
• There are three types of correlation they are,
1. Positive correlation
2. Negative correlation
3. Zero correlation
• The classification Is done in the direction of
relation between the variables

4. 1. Positive correlation
If the first variable increases or
decreasesthe other is also increases or
decreases respectively their relation is
said to be positive correlation because
they move in same direction
E. g: temperature and Volume

6. 2. Negative correlation
If when the first variable increases or decreases the
other respectively decreases or increases their
relationship is said to be negative correlation.
Because they move in opposite direction
E. g: volume and pressure

8. 3.Zero correlation
• Where there is no correlation is called zero correlation
• We can’t expect relationship between intelligence and
weight of an individual
• Intelligence neither increases nor decreases
• Weight increases or decreases
• Here we got zero correlation

9. CONCLUSION
• Correlation is stratically significant
• It we can simply represent in grapically
• It gives relationship between two
variables
• Graph is easy to identity
