Why have youdecidedtomake itabout this? Because I am veryinterestedinthe ideaof telling
a differentstorywiththe musicthanwhatis
presentinthe dialogue,sinceitaddsa whole new
layerto the film.

A snippetof life frombeforeyouwere born,
sometime in 1940’s Czechoslovakia.
What aboutyour filmmakesitpersonal and
importantto you?
I will be makingthe filmwithtwoclose friendsof
mine,andtheirinputandpersonal touchonthe
film, aswell asmy own,make itveryimportant
and personal tome.
What effectdoyouwant to have onyour
audience whentheysee yourfilm?
I wantthemto thinkabout the difference
betweenthe waythingswere inacountrythat no
longerexists,andwonderwhatthe music
accompanyingthe video represents.
Describe the tone/mood/style of yourfilm [which
factual techniques/characteristicsare you
employing?]
The most overtfactual characteristicof my film
will be featuringanintervieweetellingatrue
storyas the mainfocus,The voice of the
interviewee will be heardbeforeshe isseento
buildanticipation. The overall tone will be
somethingof aclash: Featuringbright
cinematographyand a sombre story,the general
theme of the documentarywill be focusedon
contrast andintrospection.Withasubdued,
peaceful mood.

style?
Because the more dramaticside of
documentariesissomethingIhaven’texplored
verymuch before,thiscombinedwiththe music
will give me averyfresh,experimental project,
