• Oliver Twist or, The Parish Boy’s Progress
written by Charles Dickens was Published in
the serial form in 1837-1839.
• Nancy was the member of Fagin’s gang, Victim
of Bill Sikes and the lover.
• Nancy consider as a most important character
in ‘Oliver Twist’.
3. Complicated Character
Nancy is the complex, sympathetic and totally
tragic character of the novel.
Why does she helped Oliver to escape from
the Fagin gang?
