Network Cable :
Networking cables are networking hardware used to connect one network device
to other network devices or to connect two or more computers to
share printers, scanners etc. Three Major Types of Network Cables Used In
Communication Systems. They are :
1) Coaxial cable
2) Twisted pair cable
3) Fiber optic cable

Coaxial Cable :
Coaxial cable, or coax cable, is another type of copper cable which has an inner
conductor surrounded by foam insulation, symmetrically wrapped by a woven
braided metal shield, then covered by in a plastic jacket. This kind of cable is
mainly adopted in feedlines connecting radio transmitters and receivers with their
antennas, computer network connections, and distributing cable television
signals.
2. Coaxial Cable :

RG -8
RG58

Single Core Coaxial Cable :
A single core wire is a cylindrical strand of metal. In single core wire there is only a
single core of metal is present, copper.
3. Multi Core Coaxial Cable :
A multicore cable is a type of electrical cable that combines multiple signals or
power feeds into a single jacketed cable.
Twisted-Pair Cable :
A twisted pair cable is a type of cable made by putting two separate insulated
wires together in a twisted pattern and running them parallel to each other. This
type of cable is widely used in different kinds of data and voice
infrastructures. Twisted-pair cabling may be shielded. Cable with shielding is
known as Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) and without as Unshielded Twisted
Pair (UTP).
4. In Twisted-Pair cable have 4 pair of cable.
Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) :
Shielded twisted pair cable (STP) has the individual pairs of wires wrapped in foil,
which are then wrapped again for double protection. Shielded cables are useful in
any environments where there is a high chance of electronic interference, such as
radio stations and airports .
Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) :
UTP is an unshielded twisted pair cable used in computer and
telecommunications mediums. Its frequency range is suitable for transmitting
both data and voice via a UTP cable. Therefore, it is widely used in the telephone,
computers, etc. It is a pair of insulated copper wires twisted together to reduce
5. noise generated by external interference. It is a wire with no additional shielding,
like aluminium foil, to protect its data from the exterior.
