conducting stresses & deflections at Fabricated Girth Gears.
 Reviewing Performance Management Process (PMP) of team members for the merit hike.
 Scheduling, planning and arranging other trainings such as six sigma green belt, Export Compliance, Business
communication, technical seminars internally.
 Preparing Model & drawings of Gear Box, Base plate & Components along with preparing Bearing load

Senior Engineer (Design)
 Performed complete design & development of Spur, Helical, Planetary gear boxes and Cardan shafts. Cardan shaft
(drive line shaft) are suitably designed / supplied in replacement to existing cardan shafts of other makes.
 Made preliminary discussion with customer and visited customer for actual requirement.
 Selected gearing based on load rating and arrangement, GA drawing of Gear box for customer submission/
approval.
 Conducted detailed design of Gearbox consisting of Casing, Gears, Shafts, Bearings, oil Seals, `o’ rings etc.
 Selected Bearings depending on the loads & for the required operating life and checked the life of Bearings will be
both by manual calculations & thru SKF software.
 Designed shafts for bending moment and Shear force for the required Torque transmitting capacity & selected
material accordingly.
 Designed gearbox casing for the limiting dimensions approved by the customer and fabricated the casing out of
mild steel plates. Also designed gear case castings with suitable material as per design requirements.
 Selected oil seals & `o’ Rings suitably for leak proof joints and faces.
 Selecting suitable air Breather for Air vent, Magnetic drain plug for oil drain & Oil level gauge.
 Laid the material requisition for long lead items such as Bearings, Oil seals, `o’ Rings, bar stocks & Forgings for
the procurement action.
 Prepared and released the Gear box assembly & Components drawings for manufacturing & Assembly purpose
with BOM.
 Checked and monitored input & output speeds during testing, Noise level and Bearing temperature during free
run and load testing.
Highlights:
 Proficiently designed, tested and supplied vertically mounted gearbox for “IFFCO” Khandla, which is running at
customer’s plant, which was earlier imported and was replaced with fabricated gear case.
 Actively worked on various CVRDE (Avadi) (a Defence Organization) Reverse Engineering project and various
VRDE Developmental Projects.
 Successfully designed, Tested and handed over the “Turret Traverse Gear Box for Gun Control System of “T -72
“Arjuna Main Battle Tank”.
 Efficiently performed reverse engineering, testing and handing over the “Final Drive “for “T-72 Arjuna Main Battle
Tank”.
 Actively developed Hydraulic Actuator for main brake system for“T-72 Arjuna Main Battle Tank “.
 Developed and tested main Brake System and Input Gear Train for “T-72 Arjuna Main Battle Tank”.
 Efficiently developed planetary gear box for fan drive of Input gear train which is for “T72 Arjuna Main Battle

Cardan shaft (drive line shaft) are suitably designed / supplied in replacement to existing cardan shafts of other makes.  Made preliminary discussion with customer and visited customer for actual requirement.  Selected gearing based on load rating and arrangement, GA drawing of Gear box for customer submission/ approval.  Conducted detailed design of Gearbox consisting of Casing, Gears, Shafts, Bearings, oil Seals, `o’ rings etc.  Selected Bearings depending on the loads & for the required operating life and checked the life of Bearings will be both by manual calculations & thru SKF software.  Designed shafts for bending moment and Shear force for the required Torque transmitting capacity & selected material accordingly.  Designed gearbox casing for the limiting dimensions approved by the customer and fabricated the casing out of mild steel plates. Also designed gear case castings with suitable material as per design requirements.  Selected oil seals & `o’ Rings suitably for leak proof joints and faces.  Selecting suitable air Breather for Air vent, Magnetic drain plug for oil drain & Oil level gauge.  Laid the material requisition for long lead items such as Bearings, Oil seals, `o’ Rings, bar stocks & Forgings for the procurement action.  Prepared and released the Gear box assembly & Components drawings for manufacturing & Assembly purpose with BOM.  Checked and monitored input & output speeds during testing, Noise level and Bearing temperature during free run and load testing.
