Position Overview :
This position requires a range of creative design, craft, engineering skills & processes to design & shape products
for RECARO performance seating application, Balances innovative engineering design, functional requirements
& aesthetic appeal of products for mass manufacture or for production in small quantities.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for complete seat design activities for performance seats , concept creation & proposals using
DFC,DFAM, packaging studies, 3D modeling, Assembly & drawing creation with proper GD&T,
Exploded drawing, visual BOM , environment clearance studies, DFMEA, support in PPAP activities.
· Produce detailed drawings/layouts with full specification of part list & requirements.
· Communicate/meet with clients to establish design requirements that include concept, performance,
production criteria & scope of work. Initiate & participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
· Verify design thru utilization of samples or working models, Prototype building support.
· Present design proposals & contract bids to clients & sr. design management.
· Responsible for data revision levels, release of phase & change levels.
