2. Autorounders is an
automobile garage that
specializes in brands such
as, Mercedes Benz, BMW,
Audi, Skoda and
Volkswagen. I had the
privilege of working there
as an intern mechanic
and sales representative.
This particular garage is
run by Jatin Patel, a
graduate in automobile
engineering. The next few slides
will cover a few of
my experiences with
different cars at the
garage.
3. A 2008 Nissan Teana came in
with a faulty set of spark plugs
and a long worn front
suspension
4. A coolant pipe that had to be opened to
remove the intake manifold
9. A completely worn out
dog bone mount on a
Skoda Octavia was
replaced since the car
was experiencing severe
vibrations. The mount is
used to hold the engine
in place
10. The new part substantially decreased
the vibrations
11. I was asked to write a blog about how an Mercedes Benz
Ml250d was repaired by Autorounders. A link of same is
mentioned below

12. Old and new parts for the
front suspension of a
Mercedes Benz Ml350d
13.
14. The joints had to be cleaned
well before any refitting was
done
15. The control arm bushes of the car had
taken quite the hit and had to be
replaced
16. The new suspension linkages helped
make the car’s ride quality a lot better
than before
28. I am glad to say that, my experience at Autorounders was fruitful in
a lot more ways than I anticipated. The passion for the automobile
was enhanced to an even greater level, and my knowledge and
understanding of machines increased exponentially. It was simply
an experience I couldn’t have had anywhere else, making it one of
my favourite and most engaging activities. I hope to further
develop my skills and knowledge to an extent that will allow me to
contribute to the field as much as I can.
I have attached a link to a letter written by the senior management
of the company that speaks of their perspective of the Internship.
