HOW TO START A GOOD CONVERSATION
A SIMPLE TIPS
Choose the Right Time and Place
Make sure the setting is appropriate and conducive to
conversation. Avoid distractions and noisy environments.
Smile and Make Eye Contact
A friendly smile and maintaining eye contact can help create a
welcoming atmosphere and show your interest.
Greet and Introduce Yourself
Start with a warm greeting and introduce yourself if the person
doesn't know you. For example, "Hi, I'm [Your Name]."
Use Open-Ended Questions
Ask questions that can't be answered with a simple "yes" or "no."
This encourages the other person to share more and keeps the
conversation flowing. For example, "What do you enjoy doing in
your free time?"
Show Genuine Interest
Listen actively to the other person's responses and show that
you're genuinely interested in what they're saying. Ask follow-up
questions to delve deeper into the topic.
