2. MY ROLE
• Throughout the process of our film making, individually
we all had our specific inputs into ideas. As individuals
we were naturally drawn to tasks that best fit our
ability’s and strengths. My main role was ensuring that
the final product of the film was edited and directed to
a high quality and standard.
• All the tasks that I carried out were discussed with my
group members as they offered constructive criticism
which I found very helpful. This was effective as it
meant that all of us had some part to play is every
aspect of our filming making process.
3. RESEARCH AND PLANNING
• As a group we all carried out our individual research into
the illness Dementia. This is because we wanted to
convey a realistic portrayal of the disease. After we
conducted our researched we reformed as a group to
pass what we had found to one another.
• Shot Lists - We recreated the shots in our film before
filming so we had a better understanding of what our
film was going to look like. This felt appropriated to do
in a group as it meant we all had our ideas included.
• Script Writer.
• Finding the correct location.
• Casting Calls.
4. CONSTRUCTION
• In the construction process I was the:
• Camera Women (Director).
• Editor (Of)
- The Film “In His Eyes” (Putting the film in the
correct sequence, adding effects, colour
correcting, framing and altering sound levels.)
- Audience Feedback Research.
- Auditions.
- Setting Walk Through.
5. EVALUATION
• During the evaluation process of our
production I was the:
• Audience Feedback Researcher.
• I looked into research such as looking different
types of audiences, lighting and editing of
Edius. This played a vital role towards our
final product.
