3. Throughout the process of our film making, each person in my
group had their own ideas and inputs when coming up with ideas,
from the start of the production task, each person naturally had
an idea of what their role in the group would be, this was based
on each persons interests, availability and what their strongest
point were.
My main role lied in the more creative section, this included the
production of film posters/advertisement, story boards,
character styling and makeup, and general research, I had to
make sure that the characters fitted their role in the way they
were presented, I researched before styling to see what different
age groups wore and whether or not this suited the characters,
this is seen in my ‘outfit deconstruction’ research.
Every time I carried out a task, the members in my group were
fully aware of what I was doing, they gave back suggestions and
offered constructive criticism when they thought something
should be changed, this I found very helpful as it led me into the
right direction, this was also successful when we were filming as
a group, each person had a chance to film a equal amount in this
process.
4. we all carried out our own research on dementia and its
effects, this is we wanted to gather as must information and
gain as much knowledge from each other when reforming as a
group and passing on information, we did this most of our
research work in order to achieve the best understanding.
Planning
Shot Lists - We recreated the shots in our film before filming,
this was so we were organised and had a clear understanding
of what our film was going to look like, this was helpful as
each individual knew how to set up the cameras for each
shot, by this we all had an involvement in filming

5. In the construction process I was the:
Camera Women (set arrangement)
Outfit stylist/make – up artist
Story board producer
Film poster producer
Editor on social media Facebook page
6. During the evaluation process of our
production I played a role in
Drawing and completing the storyboards on
Photoshop.
Planning and completing the film poster on
Photoshop
Styling of the individual characters
General research in to audience via social
media, taking second opinion and giving
critical feedback on how to improve editing.
This played a vital role towards our final
product
7. By having many different tasks in the development of our
film making, as a group I feel that we all worked very well
together and stayed consistent throughout the production
work.
Through different methods I feel like I have gained
important skills within research, planning, filming and
producing. Particularly In gaining knowledge about
Dementia and its effects.
I learnt the different ways on how dementia can effect a
day to day not of a sufferer and how it also has an impact
on the family, I learnt how hard it can really be. In the
future I would love to work and do more charity work with
real life issues that address these problems.
Overall I think that myself and my group overcame barriers
and continued to work hard in order to achieve a final
product. As a whole I can positively say that I am very
happy with the end product and the positive feedback we
received.
