This document provides instructions for creating a database and table in two steps. The first step has the user click Blank, select a location, name the database, and click Create. The second step has the user click Create and Table Design to design a blank table in Design view ready for adding fields.

1. 2.1 Creating a Database
1. Click the Blank
2. Browse for a location to put your database and Click OK.
3. Change your Database Name.
4. Click Create.

A blank table appears in Design view, with the
insertion point already in the first cell in the Field
Name column.
