2. What is Waste?
Waste is material that is left or thrown after
its use.
Wastes contain solid, liquid, and also
gaseous contaminants.
Examples: Garbage, Vehicles,
constructions, electronic and electric
appliances.

3. TYPES OF WASTE
›BIO-DEGRADABLE: Biodegradable
materials are composed of waste from living
organisms and the actual plants , animals , or
other organism when its life ends.
›NON BIO-DEGRADABLE: Materials having
properties that do not breakdown or decay
are called non-biodegradable.

›First the material is burnt in huge burners
until they are melted.

removed.

in a moulds as per the requirements of

material is crushed into thin layers.

cover with soil. So that they will
decompose naturally for some time.
