Simon Haslett is Professor of Physical Geography and former Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University of Wales. He is currently with Jesus College, University of Oxford, under a short-term visiting fellowship. He has authored and edited several books, published over 100 research papers, and is currently Associate Editor of the Journal of Coastal Research. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, the Geological Society, the Royal Society for the Arts, and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
