- It is a digital board game
- Can be used as a tool for brainstorming information in a
class
- Can be used for brainstorming notes for individual
purposes
- Can be used as a team building exercise
- Can be used for International students, for better
understanding of words in English
- More attention from the students
3. Lets Get Started
- I will be using brainsavvy in regards with the course
English 109 to recall various idioms which were taught in
class
- It will be fun but effective
- The students will work in groups
- The students will have more motivation towards the
activity as for every correct idiom they come up with,
will get them one step closer to the finish line, in the
game
- This will result in more work in the brains of students
4. Structure of the Board game
Every team will have their own

5. EXAMPLE
The professor asks , “What idiom do you use when you are
confused about something?”
The answer - Can’t get my head around it
Suppose team C has the puprle piece on the board and they
answer correctly to the question. Therefore, their piece will
move a block further than the pieces belonging to the other
teams.
6. The picture below shows the movement of Team c’s piece, as a result of their
correct answer. Team c’s piece has moved a block further from the “start”
platform
8. - Brainsaavy is used for subjects, namely- English Language
Arts, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, Special Education, Health
and Physical Education, Cross-curricular, History, Social Studies, ICT,
Music, Geography, Citizenship, English as a Second Language, Science
etc
