This document proposes a crypto-steganography scheme for embedding encrypted data into videos in an imperceptible manner. The scheme uses a block-based, saliency-driven approach to sparsely embed data into video frames based on the frame's information content and visual perception. This allows for lower computational complexity, maintains video quality, and makes the embedded data less susceptible to statistical and attention-based attacks while providing higher payload capacity than existing methods. The results show the proposed technique compares favorably to other steganography methods in terms of imperceptibility and security.
