Children’s Day Celebration

2. We at Iris – Suncity celebrated Children's Day in
remembrance of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s Birthday. To
make this celebration - fun for the little ones, we have
organized two events:
1. Fancy Dress Competition with the Theme :
Food – Fruits and Vegetables for Iris TOTS
and Iris Nursery Children.
2. And Little Chef’s Event with the Theme :
Food – Healthy Diet for Iris Juniors and Iris
Seniors.

3. One of the most important things is to help
children learn healthy eating habits. To
inculcate the habit of eating fruits and
vegetables among children, we have
organized the Fancy Dress for TOTS and
NURSERY children, so that they could know
more about the Fruit/Vegetable they are
wearing.
We are glad that parents took time to
prepare the costume and encouraged them to
speak out few words about that Fruit or
Vegetable.

17. “Great health starts in the kitchen”.
We are proud to present our children as Little
Chef Stars!
Children love to show what they can work and do in
the kitchen. Kids learn by exploring with their
senses and the kitchen is an ideal place to do that.
Most children are naturally picky eaters, and
bringing them into the kitchen to cook can help,
get them to open up to new tastes is challenging.
So we encouraged our children to taste new
ingredients we're working with and talk about what
they like and how healthy foods make them grow.
