vulnerable populations presentation (ppt) focusing on the
characteristics and identity of the particular sub-population
group.
• MHA students, used their vulnerable populations overview to
identify an at-risk population and complete one PolicyMap per
student to illustrate the relationship between an at-risk
population and a social determinant or health status impact
factor.
• Each MHA group developed a ppt PolicyMap presentation
and synthesized their findings.

• Really cool software once I figured out how to use it! I
discovered my hometown in rural NJ had 30 murders
per 1000 in a 1.9 sq mile town.
• Using Data Loader was helpful ….tables and charts
made the information easier to visualize.
• Maybe make a simple PolicyMap part of the discussion
board as it was foreign to me.
• Improve the PolicyMap assignment by dedicating one
entire class to learning the fundamentals.
