The main activity, the youth exchange gathering 34 young people 15-19 years old and 6 group leaders who are Romanian teachers and Spanish youth workers, took place at Motele Flora in Lepsa Village, Vrancea county, Romania

3. PARTICIPANTS:
Young people (15-18 years old) with fewer opportunities
(geographical and financial obstacles) who need to acquire some
behaviour changes by gaining awareness with regard to the
necessity of having a healthier lifestyle and of adapting their
habits in order to become physically and mentally healthier and
more responsible, recognizing and preventing the danger of
certain diseases or disorders such as diabetes, bulimia,
anorexia, obesity, heart disease, depression or anxiety.
4. AIM:
Create an open, non formal space, for 40 people including 6
group leaders and 34 participants - young people with fewer
possibilities, 15-18 years old. Together they will practice a
healthy lifestyle in an inclusive way.

5. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
1. Raising participants’ awareness regarding a healthy lifestyle
based on diet, physical exercise,
socialization, prevention of different forms of addiction through
deterrence and spending quality time together
2. Prevention of social exclusion, obesity and sedentary life for
the disadvantaged/ marginalized and financially weak young
people, who live in the rural, poor areas and are at risk of
school dropout
3. Developing inter/cultural, linguistic, social, digital,
transversal competences of the participants
6. 4. Building cultural exchange between two European cultures,
raising awareness with regard to European identity,
overcoming cultural prejudices, misconceptions and stereotypes
according to UE principles: fighting racism, respect for dignity,
diversity, equal opportunities, gender equality
5. Developing a spirit of tolerance, fighting discrimination
practices, interest in cultural diversity, all of which being
fundamentally necessary for living and working in a
multicultural European space
6. Improving the partner organisations’ ability to approach
inclusive practices through a transfer of innovation, non formal
methods and techniques between partners in order to provide
quality educational services at European standards
7. By all the participants’ active involvement in all the project
activities we intend to support social inclusion for the young
people with fewer possibilities or with health problems, to
develop the participants’ native qualities and key competences
for a better integration into the labour market, to encourage
active citizenship and sharing common European values, to
promote equality of chances, tolerance, non discrimination and
cultural dialogue so that the participants should become agents
of change in their own community.
8. ACTIVITIES
1. Healthy eating habits and healthy lifestyle: using non formal methods
such as games, brainstorming. Presentations, observation, group talk,
pair work, teamwork
2. Social inclusion: visit and participation in the activities of the SCHOOL
CENTER FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION „Elena Doamna” and the
workshop „SOCIAL EXCLUSION”
3. Activities of knowing each other, socialising, group cohesion,
teambuilding, integration
4. ANTI-STRESS and ECO-FRIENDLY activities
5. Reflection Hour: group evaluation, filling in the non formal learning
diary, group discussions about Youthpass and Erasmus+ opportunities
6. HIKING&TREKKING on Cheile Tisitei
7. Thematic visit to Brasov and Bran Castle –interviews with local people

Promoting regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, healthy
lifestyle and maintenance of the recommended body weight among
young people
Learning nutrition and healthy eating principles, first aid
techniques, exercising logical and strategic thinking during specific
tasks
Fighting sedentary life, the growing trend of increasing obesity,
stress and addictions by providing healthier ways of spending free
time : hiking, trips, handmade, board-games, team games in the
open
Young people with fewer opportunities will be given the chance to
travel, to meet new people and places, to spend quality time in a
group, to develop their potential, to participate in inclusive
activities, to raise their self-esteem
