Mr. Van Den Berg was employed at Precision Home & Office Deliveries (A Division of ASL Distribution Services Limited) as Hub
& Fleet Supervisor for the London Territory for his firstyear of employment with us. He was subsequently promoted with
Regional Manager Responsibilities for theSouthwestern Ontario Market.
His responsibilities as Hub & Fleet Supervisor included:
Overseeing a Cross Dock Operation from Opening to Closing,managingits housekeepingand proper maintenance,
maintainingrelationshipswith Landor and vendors to support the needs of our business.
Managing,auditing,motivatingand recruiting“A” Calibredrivers (Independent Contractors) to offer “Best in Class”
Services for Final MileDeliveries to end users for top retailers in the world.
Dispatchingand balancingvolumes to continuously meet or exceed 99% on-time performance.
Reporting and accountability towards all necessary KPIs and Daily/Weekly/Monthly Metrics.
Involvement in the development and implementation of SOPs,Work Instructions and Continuous Improvement
methodologies within all aspects of our business.
His responsibilities as Regional Manager included in addition to the above:
Overseeing multiplefacilities in Southwestern Ontario,leadership staff and drivers.
Operatingbudget of $2.5 Million (facilities,Staffingof drivers,Independent Contractors,vendors, etc…)
P&L responsibilities for each facility within the Southwestern Market.
Recruitingof Supervisors,drivers,Independent Contractors,as well as sourcingvendors to manage the day to day
operation of our facilities. Accountableto maintain a ratio of “A” players in excess of 90%.
Accountable to maintain best in classMetrics (99%+Level of Service, 0.07% Cargo Loss,etc…).
Mr. Van Den Berg was a pleasureto work with, always enthusiastic,punctual,and more importantly,had a true appreciation
for process disciplineand hard work. Paul lead by example and was respected by his peers. He created a positivework
environment, holdingdaily operational meetings where he engaged his team and developed a culture of professionalism
where everyone understood the need to go above and beyond when necessary to reach operational excellence. I would
