Employed to cover maintenance technicians for yearly shutdown
activities within the Smelter Power Station.
Shut down period 4 weeks with initial employment one to two day a

 Areas of responsibilities are Carbon Rodding Shop, Bath Treatment
Plant and Carbon Cranes. I take full responsibility of these areas and
the maintenance team within these areas. I am part of the
Maintenance Lead Team for Carbon and manage the maintenance
teams within my area of responsibility of the site.
These areas involved the Setting of the maintenance teams Key
Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and managing the maintenance teams
within my responsibility. Achieving zero injuries and completing the
maintenance plan.
Setting targets and requirements for the teams to achieve and to
maintain the plant to a high operational availability.
Set yearly budgets and ensure that critical assemblies are ordered
and maintained in the correct manner. Ensure that major change outs
are planned and completed on time.
I am involved with the completion of the Start Up and Commissioning
for parts of the plant that are still to meet expectations and work
closely with the contractor / suppliers to achieve the desired outcomes

  • 4. 2014 – Alcoa International – Ma’aden Alcoa JV Saudi Arabia FIFO Reporting Directly to the Carbon Maintenance Superintendant. Role – Maintenance Supervisor  Maintenance Supervisor, working for Ma’aden Alcoa Joint Venture in Saudi Arabia at Ras Al Khair as maintenance supervisor. The role was to obtain stable maintenance across the Carbon Rodding Shop and to reduce maintenance breakdowns. Supervision and team direction to achieve designed product through put. Management of technician fatigue and leave requirements. Complete equipment start up, and achieve full production requirements of product produced to support fully operational Smelter. Completion of the weekly maintenance schedule with zero safety violations. 2015 – Alcoa International - Ma’aden Alcoa JV Saudi Arabia FIFO Reporting Directly to the Carbon Maintenance Manager. Role - Maintenance Superintendent – Carbon  Areas of responsibilities are Carbon Rodding Shop, Bath Treatment Plant and Carbon Cranes. I take full responsibility of these areas and the maintenance team within these areas. I am part of the Maintenance Lead Team for Carbon and manage the maintenance teams within my area of responsibility of the site. These areas involved the Setting of the maintenance teams Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and managing the maintenance teams within my responsibility. Achieving zero injuries and completing the maintenance plan. Setting targets and requirements for the teams to achieve and to maintain the plant to a high operational availability. Set yearly budgets and ensure that critical assemblies are ordered and maintained in the correct manner. Ensure that major change outs are planned and completed on time. I am involved with the completion of the Start Up and Commissioning for parts of the plant that are still to meet expectations and work closely with the contractor / suppliers to achieve the desired outcomes Objective I enjoy completing a challenge and achieving quality outcomes to all that I do. I am a highly motivated person and apply myself fully in my job role that is satisfying and rewarding to both my employer and me. I enjoy working in a team environment and being a part of the fixing / repairing of equipment and take pride in achieving a quality out come to all that I am involved in.
