Helix Energy Solutions is an offshore well intervention and oil production company with a fleet that consists of Drill
Ships, Semisubmersibles, and a Production Vessel. Helix’s clients include Anadarko, BP, Murphy, and Talos Energy.
Third Engineer aboard the Helix 534, a 534-foot/DP2 Drillship that is currently cold stacked. Worked on and maintained
the main engines including 6 EMD-20-645 E-series, as well as 1 EMD-14-645 E-series. Additional experience installing
and maintaining 6 Bird Johnson variable pitch thrusters, each of which produces 2,500 hp. Experience with Kongsberg
Power Management System.
Participated in the installation, maintenance, and testing of 3variable pitch Rolls Royce thrusters during the shipyard and
sea trial periods.
Preformed daily maintenance tasks in addition to leading projects involving the ship’s thrusters, potable water system,

Third Engineer aboard the Noble Globetrotter I, a 620-foot/34,114 GT DP3 Drill Ship that produces 49,350 hp and is
currently drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Work on and maintain 8, C-280-16 Caterpillar main engines, each produce
5,060 kw and have 4,600 kw generators that put out 11 kv. Additional experience with and including maintenance on
Rolls Royce Azimuth Thrusters that Produce 3,700 kw a piece. Experience with Converteam Power Management
System.
Duties include control room watch in charge of vessel PMS and alarm response. In charge of fresh water generation and
all associated equipment. In charge of bilge operations and all of its associated equipment, along with the Oily Water
Separator operations and maintenance. Manage drill water for cement jobs, and maintain drill water pumps.
