 U.S.N.S. Pililaau (AMSEA) Commercial Ship Fall 2014
 Worked with the ship’s licensed engineers to operate and maintain the ship’s four Colt-Pielstick PC4.2V main
propulsion diesel engines and four 16v32 Wartsila Generators.
 Completed one, six week voyage, rotating through: watch, maintenance, training, and emergency drills.
 Performed watch duties in the engine room with responsibility for monitoring engine room equipment.
 U.S.T.S. Kennedy (MMA) Sea Term I,II, & III Winter 2012-2013
 Assisted the ship’s licensed engineers to operate the steam ship with two Foster Wheeler D-Type Boilers, one
CAT 3408 and one Wartsila Diesel Generator.
 Completed three, six week,voyages, rotating through: watch,maintenance, training, and emergency drills.
 Performed duties on the ship including general maintenance, standing watch, troubleshooting and repairs,
multiple fabrication projects, and keeping equipment up to ABS standards by performing multiple trip tests.

 Conducted hourly rounds of MMA’s two Aqua Aerobic SBRs, CAT C15, 3406, G3406, Olimpia D150P1,
D150P4 Emergency Diesel Generators, and one Vestas V-47 wind turbine.
 Preventative maintenance and hourly rounds of one Cleaver Brooks Flexible Water tube Boiler, three UTC Power
Capstone Microturbines, and six PK Thermific Gas-Fired Heating Boilers.
 Cleaned, rebuilt, and maintained HVAC systems,and two stage reciprocating air compressors on the school
campus.
