Patricia Zahrt worked for Ranger Land Systems in Kuwait from 2010 to 2012 as the Deputy Program Manager for Sustainment and Administration. She developed standard operating procedures for acquiring permanent resident visas for employees and managed housing for over 200 employees across nine buildings. During the period September 2010 through September 2012, Ms. Patricia Zahrt was deployed
overseas to the country of Kuwait, working for Ranger Land Systems as a defense contractor
under the Department of Defense's Joint Programs Office Mine Resistant Ambush Protected
(MRAP) Vehicle Maintenance Program located at the MRAP Sustainment Facility (MSF) in the
City of Mina Abdulla. Ms. Zahrt served as Ranger Land System's Deputy Program Manager for
Sustainment and Administration, with principal responsibilities to administer host nation
sponsorship programs in accordance with Kuwaiti immigration law, serve as the company's
Director of Housing, and manage the vehicle fleet and full-time driver/operator personnel.
In summary, Ms. Zahrt performed all of her assigned duties with the utmost degree of individual
competency and professionalism, always displaying a positive, "can do" attitude, and influencing
peers and co-workers to seek self-improvement and perform at higher levels of productivity. Pat
is equally adept at performing complex, difficult tasks, as she is with simple, repetitious ones;
there is no job too large or too small for Patricia. A self-motivated person by nature, Pat works
tirelessly to master any/all tasks, and doesn't quit until the job is complete. She possesses
excellent written and oral communication skills, is both loved and respected by her peers, and is
honest and trustworthy in all situations and circumstances. Pat is a unique individual that can
be counted on to always do what is right, every time, without exception.
Pat's significant accomplishments during her deployment to Kuwait include the development of
the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual for acquiring Kuwaiti Permanent
Resident Visas for eligible employees, including extensive travel, communication, and
coordination with the host-nation sponsorship agency, Kuwait Resource House (KRH).
Additionally, she served as the company's resident housing manager for over 200 employees
residing in nine separate buildings located in four separate locations across the municipalities of
Mahboula, Fahaheel, and Mangaf, Kuwait. Pat also successfully managed a fleet of leased
sedans, vans, and buses used to transport employees from the housing areas to and from work
on a daily basis, and including the schedules and activities of the foreign-national driver
personnel.
