My Favorite Day In School
At the South Harrison Elementary School it was some what cold because it was around the winter time. When I walk into the school I turn to go
down the hallway. I turn once more to get to my classroom. My home room teacher was Mrs. Henry. I thought she was the best teacher in fourth
grade. Our first class was math class which I was always good at math because I was smart. We were in the classroom and we were doing easy math
like subtraction and addition. Then after that we did some games on our computer for easy fractions and easy decimals. After that we did a few math
assignments on decimals and fractions. Then we picked up our computers and turned in all of our assignments. Then it was time for the next class
which was science. I wasn't...show more content...
These past few weeks we were reading The Titanic. I especially thought this book was stupid because the girls in my class told me it was probably
going to be romantic and only a little bit adventure packed. But when we got into it more I got more enthusiastic. I still didn't think it was a good
book. But I knew I had to pay attention because we always did questions afterwards. Today we would have to do questions on chapter twelve. So
we started reading and the first person she calls on is one of my friends sitting next to me. He starts reading and when he is reading I am thinking
what would happen if she called on me. I thought that because I was not a good reader. I would always mess up on words and I am one of the
slow readers. Then she says we have to read two chapters. So she reads the rest of the first little chapter. I knew after she read I was going to get
picked. But she kept picking my friends. So I was crossing my fingers she would not call on me to read. Then she calls another one of my friends
from my table. Then she said a few pages before we were done she said we had to do questions together. I thought that made it so much worse
because I would even get more likely to get picked. But Mrs. Henry picked Jastin to read then Rowan. Then she read the last paragraph. She asked My
friend that was a table away to answer the first question. The question was something about what happened when the pencils scraped the man's hands
when he was reaching

My Reflection On My Educational Experience Essay
My family, culture, educational, professional experiences have all been positive. The different teachers that I have had; guided me into considering the
teaching career for many reasons. First, my family has guided me, my mom and dad have always found the right schools for me. They have pushed me
to do hard things that make me scared. They have had faith in the school's that I chose were the right choices, and they will grow on me. My cultural
experience is also a factor of why I want to be a teacher. My schools have been centered on helping students who have learning differences, so I
have always been open about having a learning difference to other people. My educational experience has been amazing. It has been positive for
me because the schools I have gone to were safe places that I could be myself. The teachers at my schools made a significant impact on me starting
at a young age. The professional experience has been limited but beneficial. I worked at Stratford Friends School; I learned it is so much fun to
work with children who were just like me. I love the children and school. I get excited about going back to school shopping. I love to dance in the
isles, and I love to look at all the beautiful school supplies.
I want to be a special education teacher for many reasons. First, the community has made a big impact on me. I know how the children feel to be
struggling in school. I want them to know that I also struggled in school and I still achieved my dream. I love

Essay on Why Students Should Go to School
Why should students go to school?
There are several reasons why kids need to go to school but to me, the top three reasons are getting an education helps you go farther in life, it's
required by the state that you go till you reach a certain age, and it will help you learn social skills and help you be comfortable to talking to people.
Although students may not like going to school, it benefits them in the long run. It is important for students to go to school to get an education. Even
though some students may not like to go to school it is required that they go. Even though students may not realize it but they also learn social skills
by making friends and talking in front of people. It's significant for students to go to school so...show more content...
If you ever went into a business where you had to do a presentation on a piece of work you've been working on or if you came up with a new idea
that you thought could help your business, you would most likely have to present the information in front of your boss and coworkers. Having
social skills could play a big role in your presentation because if you was not comfortable talking in front of a crowd, then you could either: freeze
up while talking, talk too fast cause you're so nervous and want to get the presentation over with, your face could turn red, etc. But, if you had
social skills and were use to talking in front of a group of people then you will be comfortable presenting your project with no worries. Also by
socializing students can make friends. By making friends school could also be more enjoyable. You will have friends to eat lunch with; friends to
hang out with on the weekends and you will have friends in your classes so they will be less boring. If you went to a school where you didn't have
any friends or where you didn't like anyone, then you will not enjoy the activities you may do in class and you may want to change schools to find
kids that you do like and will enjoy being around. By having social skills it will help you talk to people and make friends.
Students may not like going to school but, it is for the best. By going to school students can get an education and get a job or go to college and

School Improvement Essay
School improvement is transformation. It is one of the most important actions of a school. It is a process that schools must use with fidelity to ensure
that at all students are given the opportunity to perform and achieve at exemplary levels. School improvement is vital to schools and it is a process
that cannot be done in isolation. It requires team work, collaboration, and constant analysis of data and setting of goals. School improvement goals
focus on how to meet the needs of students. Addressing the educational needs, funding, and achievement gaps between subgroups is collaborative
effort involves everyone that has a vested interest in the schools. These basic measures set the foundation for improvement. And so, if it is the...show

This is the most difficult step for schools, however, when working together, with urgency and a mindset to improve, total transformation will occur. As
we review and synthesize data of a district for planning school improvement, the following information is needed to access and determine the needs of a
school. First, a thorough analysis of performance data must be reviewed to see how school districts measure up with state and federal accountability.
During this process, it is very important that schools focus the performance indicators that will guarantee growth and success. School teams must refer
to the districts mission and vision to guide the planning process. The performance indicators will provide data that will be beneficial in creating
improvement strategies. So, after careful evaluation of the data, the next step would be to plan effective methods and strategies that will improve
student achievement. Moreover, this plan should include needs, demographics and opportunities for students to be successful. Additionally, the
baseline data is important information to include in the improvement plan.
Data is always the best resource for trying to improve student achievement. The data will help guide continuous improvement of a plan. There are four
types of data that will be beneficial to any team during the planning phase of the school improvement process.
Demographics data, achievement data, perception

Stay in School, Persuasive Essay
To make good money as an adult, you must have a good job. To have a good job, you must get a good education and go to college. To go to college,
you have to go to high school and elementary school. If you drop out or don't go to school at all, you'll go nowhere. Life today, money is everything,
and I think that the foundation of getting a good job is the education you get in the first 20–25 years of your life. School does not only teach subjects
like English, Math, History, or Science, but it also lets us meet new people and build good character. Stay in school, because it will help you meet new
people, build good character, and will also get you to a job that you will love. A lot of jobs in today's society require you to talk to...show more content...
To become trustworthy, you have to work your way up to become trusted by your classmates and/or close friends. If you are good at keeping
secrets, that's one way to know you are trustworthy. But this does not show your employer that you are trustworthy. It's just something that you
can tell your employer to show something about yourself that you are trustworthy. Also, some jobs require resumes in their applications. If you
have been fired in a previous job because of stealing money or just being lazy, other jobs your try to apply for will be hard because they won't be
able to trust you. That's why staying at a good school will help you build the trustworthy, responsible character you'll need to find a job you love.
Loving what you do is something really important because it is something you have to go through until you retire when you're around 65 years
old. It will really be hard to work in a job for over 30 years if you don't enjoy it. For example, if you don't get paid as much as you want and you also
don't enjoy what you do, it could be because of the choices you made in school. If you want what's best for yourself that you know you love and
you are good at, you should take advantage of the education you have before you graduate college. For example, if you know you are good at
biology, and you think it is interesting, going towards the medical field and being a doctor might be the best option for you. If you are good and love
biology but you

Essay on School Safety: Protecting the Students
School Safety: Protecting the Students
For many students a positive academic environment is increasingly harder to obtain. This is mainly due to their lack of safety. Whether it be inside the
classroom or out.
Unfavorable situations at home, psychological stability, physical dangers and violence all contribute to this evident shortage. There have been
investigations on how organizations, teachers and parents collaborate together in today's society to influence the students understanding of safety in
school. The purpose of this paper is to display some examples of each aforementioned contribution and show some of the current measures being taken
to aid today's students.
Developments within the past decade have opened up new ways...show more content...
And with not caring about safety, leads to not caring of academics. As stated in the NEA article, This positive academic environment begins with safe
families and safe communities, statistically, schools continue to be one of the most secure places for our children. When that is taken away from a
student, they have no drive anymore to follow through with their education. A lot of the time weaponry is involved. Children find guns in parent's
drawers, or just while they are playing at their friend's house. Older brothers and sisters who might be involved in gangs might have weapons lying
around or even feel its cool to show off to their younger siblings and their friends.
However, some of the worst violence is not weaponry. It is the harassment from student to student. Psychological stability is a big issue today when it
comes to safety. Peer pressure has left children feeling the need to concentrate more on the popular things to do, then what is best for the student; an
education. In fact, Hazler, Hoover, and Oliver (1996) reported that three–fourths of the school students they surveyed indicated that they experienced
harassment and bullying to such an extent that they suffered academic, personal, and social difficulties (Hernandez). Bullying can impact a child when
it comes to learning. Having someone of the same age, belittle, embarrass, and put a child down, most of the time leads the child to

My High School Journey
At the beginning of my high school journey, it was scary. Just the thought of a new school, meeting new people, and the fact that this would be my
last years before becoming an "adult" and getting closer to college, was unbelievable, yet scary. My high school journey had many ups and down.
These ups and downs vary because I experienced them in my academics and socially. I can't forget that I learned a lot and met many different
personalities, with people whom I trust and had many great times. Also as growing up throughout high school, I'm slowly seeing who I am. I know this
is not the end of life, just a great piece of my life will end and everything will soon change again. I can give so many advices to just start off great at
the beginning of anyone's high school journey. I think it's important to join clubs, activities,or sports so you can meet new people. It's important to
surround yourself with people who will take their education seriously because at the end of high school, you will see how far you got by being
surrounded with positive people and that's a benefit because you concentrate and achieve excellent grades and that leads to good colleges. Also,
joining more clubs and participating looks great with your cap and gown at the graduation! Another advice is do NOT procrastinate, I have done it
so many times and it sucks to sleep late and wake up early and by doing so, you avoid stress which is a pain in the butt. Do your homework, get good
grades, and ask

Why Grades Are Important Essay
Yes, grades are an effective means of motivating students to do their best work. If there were no grades why the students would like to work hard? Do
not they want to enjoy luxury and comforts in their youth? Surely, students want to enjoy their youth with luxury and comforts. They can not judge
themselves because they have no scale of judgment. It is the instructor only who judges the students comparatively and gives grades to them
accordingly. In this way, by receiving their grades students recognize their positions in the class. If their positions came to be low, they then try to
achieve higher positions by working hard because they want to achieve their goal of becoming great persons. As it is the nature of all the human beings

The farmer does his best to make his fields fit for better growth of the crops only in the hope of getting a good variety of crops so that they may
help him in earning high money. If he will not be able to get high money by producing a good variety of crops he will probably increase his
working hours to achieve his purpose because he does his work only for earning money to live in. Similar is the case with the students. Students
work because they want their instructor to give them high grades. Their future career depends on their grades they have made at this level. If they
got high grade their future will be bright because everyone gives credit to grades. Therefore, if students will get credit for their work they will
work even better for getting more and more credit. Otherwise, they will shirk work hard. Furthermore, God will also give rewards to those people
who have done good deeds in this world. That is why; all people do their best of doing good deeds so that they may be able to get reward from God
on their sacrifices and hardships. If there would be no reward from God, no one would want to do good deeds by facing hardships. Every one would
be free to committing sins or other bad deeds which will results in turmoil of the world. Same is the case with the students. If the instructor gives them
grades for their individual work they will

My Educational Background Of School
My educational background began with me attending public school for about three years, then I went to catholic school. Middle school was the
best part of my education. In middle school I was given the opportunity to express myself creatively through dance, drama, writing, and with my
voice. I attended a school of arts for one year; I noticed some changes that I was not familiar with when I was at student at catholic school. While in
catholic school we studied a curriculum that included science, math, language, and social studies, but religion was dominant over all the material. At
the school of the arts, I studied the same materials but the religion was absent, instead we were offered creative classes such as dance, drama, band,
and vocal chorus. In addition to the curriculum there were the projects, for example, the science fair and social studies fair projects. I have always
liked to be unique and creative and I would use these projects to show that. I was even fortunate enough to be accepted to attend Martin Luther King
Magnet High School, neither myself nor my parents had considered this as an opportunity. As a student at MLK, I learned I would have to push
myself and give extra effort in order to make the grade. The educators believed in high quality learning objectives, as students we were required to
analyze information and compare and contrast, instead of completing simple assignments where we would recall information. I studied seven or eight
subjects per day and I

Essay about school days
Now that I am coming to the end of high school and to the beginning of my college education, it scares me to death. Going to school has been one of
my biggest priorities and the most routine part of my life for the past thirteen years. I have many more years to get through, but the years that I spent in
elementary school and junior high were the most memorable. I have learned so much since then, it has made me a different person today. I have so
many memories from my earlier years in school. I especially remember how much easier it was back then and how much harder it is becoming now as
I get older.
I started off by going to Peppermint Patty preschool in I do not remember much...show more content...
Especially since I would always get in trouble for it. For some reason I do not remember much about first grade. I do not know if it was because it was
just a boring year of school or because I just did not like the teacher. One thing I do remember about first grade is that I won the spelling bee. That was
a big accomplishment for me in first grade. I think the challenge of first grade was the whole reading concept. Learning how to read is very difficult
for a little six year old. I was actually very good at reading, which made me enjoy first grade a little more. I am just glad that it is over with.
When I was in second grade it was a big year for me. The main reason is because I made my First Holy Communion. My family is very religious and
they were very proud of me for making my Communion. My teacher in second grade was Mrs. Lignowski. She was an old women, but she was
very nice. The main subject in second grade was of course religion, so it was not very exciting was a child, but it means a lot in my life now. We
would take many trips across the street to the church and practice what we would do in a mass. I remember being absolutely terrified to make a
confession with Father Hanley. That was part of making your first Communion so we had to do it. I of course did not confess my sins face–to–face, so
I went in the confessional booth. It is done and over with now, it still kind of makes me nervous if I were to do it to this day.

It is common that most people believe success means having a high–powered job and earning a lot of money. However, to a great extent, success is
defined as a situation in which a person has achieved his/her goal and is able to support him/herself morally and financially after completing the
educational process. In school thorough a good education, students learn how to plan to achieve their goals. They also learn how to think critically and
creatively, and improve the other skills they need. By exploring different subjects and fields they recognize their interests and abilities which lead them
to achieve success. In schools students are encouraged to overcome their weaknesses through their strengths. John Gatto is imprudent when he stated

However, teachers try to teach their students to think critically by encouraging them to ask questions like "Why do I think that", "What would happen
if...", or "How are these two things different" before doing any projects or learning any new subjects. The other skill which is taught in school is
problem solving skill which seems to be related to critical thinking. As Albert Einstein believes, "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of
thinking we used when we created them" (Harris). Thinking in a critical way, evaluating and understanding the relationship among the problem give a
person a new perspective to look at the problem differently in order to solve it. Learning to communicate effectively with others is another skill which
is taught to the students. Doing presentation is a very common and good example for building students' communication skills. Almost every subject in
secondary school requires presentations, and as a result, the students learn how to communicate with peers through discussions and gathering
information. These skills prepare students to pursue future opportunities beyond secondary school. Most schools offer students variety of courses that
they can choose from, but the majority of students don't have any ideas of what they might be interested in and what they should pursue in future life.
They can't blindly predict what they would enjoy until they have enough information. Confused students can get help

Essay about What I Have Learned from School
School is only for the open minded and strong, the weak cannot survive. You may have learned about math, science, social studies, and language arts
but only a handful of students actually learn lifelong lessons to be in a productive society. School holds many things in its classrooms and hallways.
Having great teachers and mentors will benefit you in school. Their wisdom and knowledge will contribute to you in ways unimaginable. School can
teach you plenty and these are a couple of the many of things I have learned over the 3 years I have attended Eagles Landing Middle School. To

After this accident every time Rontavious would have something rude to say I would ignore him and that made him upset and he learned to leave

up as the baby in the house I received everything I wanted and didn't have to share anything Because everything went my way when I said so and
nobody could change that. Selfish is one word that could have described me at a younger age. When nobody believed in me Ms.Scott took a chance
and brought me under her wing and taught me it was acceptable to embrace my feelings and emotions. For example if someone needs a pencil and
you have one to share gladly offer it to them because it will build on your reputation and if you don't have that you don't have anything. Kindness will
take you very far in life. Take Dr.Suess TheGrinch Stole Christmas into consideration, the Grinch was foul and disgusting because no one ever loved
him, showed him any kindness and that slowly but surely ate him from the inside out. Cindy Loue was the towns innocent sweetheart and she was also
the first person to show the Grinch kindness and that small act of kindness went a long way and warmed his little evil heart. In conclusin, school holds

How Education Has Changed My Life Essay
These past four years have really been a life changing experience. From a childish freshmen not only at school but at home too, to a still sometimes
childish senior, one who knows when and how to control himself. This school and its teachers have taught me so many lessons that will not be
forgotten any time soon. You can probably imagine how nervous and maybe even a little timorous I was, my first day at Barstow High. It was not
very simple to get accustomed to, coming from Hinkley School, which contained approximately four hundred and fifty students at most, to a big
crowded hall ways of Barstow. I still remember how nervous I was that first day; my upper lip was shaking as I asked a hall monitor where the five

taught by Mrs. Smith. Yea some people think she is though on her students, that's because she is but I think that it has a purpose. She gives some
challenging assignment that nobody wants to do but somehow she motivates us to complete them. I remember two projects that were fun and
effective, not only as school work but to help sharpen our people skills. One of those projects was to write a children's story book based on an
activist from the civil rights movement. Once we completed our book we took part in a field trip to two elementary schools here in Barstow, once
there we assigned to a five person groups and we also received a list with the room numbers that we were to visit. We read our books to first as well
as to second graders. After we I finished I had some of the children write their named on the back of my book. The second project we were assigned
that year and that I enjoyed was to research two authors from the 1800s or so, in collaboration with a partner that we got assigned to. For the first
author we had the option to either create a power point presentation or create our own website about that particular author. My partner and I choose to

Students are given the opportunity to learn efficiently from educators that are diligently dedicated and knowledgeable of their profession. Incorporating
programs that reflects one's mission will ensure learning that is flourishing. 21st Century for example, is an educational organization that provides the

advocates readiness for students by providing tools and resources that will readily prepare students to advance in the digital world. This gives the
educator the opportunity to include various techniques of learning critical to global awareness. Visions statements guide one to a successful future. A
vision is considerably created after a mission statement to determine future goals that are to be achieved. Vision statements complements mission
statements, but transcends them as visions describes the future (Abelman, 2009). This takes into account the direction in which one wishes to pursue.
Educators create a vision to determine expectations of students and the concepts that teachers want students to render. 21st Century also establishes

Persuasive Essay About School Change
School! How do you see the school? How do other people see the school? Should school still exist or continue? Should they radically change? Should
teachers get paid more? Should they teach more? Make it easier to go to college? What do you think your school should change? What should they
add or take away? There are so many questions. There's a lot of opinions and disagreements. What do I think about school? Some people say we
shouldn't have school. Hi I'm a fellow student, that's in the 9th grade and these are my opinion about school. In my opinion, school is preparing
us for jobs and more. We are in school for a good 8 hours, most likely we be working 8 hours or more doing jobs. People think they can learn on
their own. So you telling me you can learn other languages, chemistry/biology, mathematics, and etc. I think not! School helps us out a lot if you
really look at it. By teaching us step by step. Focusing on our main problem. School is starting a radical change. As the years go by schools are
changing (radically). I honestly like looking through the books instead of looking online. Reading and writing is the right way, the old fashion
way. Don't get me wrong online is a good use too. I would like to stay between really. Read and write, I feel like I learn a lot better that way and
memorized it a lot more. Online is a good way of visualizing it. Teacher should get paid more. You would disagree with this, but do you know why?
Teachers goes through a lot with students, parents, and even other teachers. I can just look into a teacher's eye and tell their tired of it or stressed out.
Students are a pain in the butt. Some students are difficult to handle. Let's take a minute, let's say this teacher has 7 different classes a day. Let's say
the largest is 15–27 students. The teacher has a bad and good students. The bad students have been acting up lately and their influence the good
students to act a fool. Now the class is a racket. Just imagine you going through that every day. That's's stressful and tiring. You may say principal or
call their parents. Come on now that don't always work. You never know how the parents going to act or say back in response. Teachers should get
paid way more than what they make

A Day in School Life
The day begins with a high–pitched yell, "moooooooorninnnnng" from my mother. I wake up tired with a headache as I think I have a cold. I rush to

There is not enough time to drink my tea; the tea burns my tongue as I gulp it down my throat, leaving a nasty taste. I ran as fast as I can towards my

The official day starts with a tutor period. My mood is lifted as I make quite a few people laugh.
The first lesson is French. The teacher is absent so I am free to take part in a conversation with my friend concerning the weekend. The teacher next
door keeps telling us to keep quiet. For some reason the rest of my fellow students feel the need to shout and keep getting louder after each complaint.
The second period begins. The teacher ignores my enquiries as to whether we will be using the "metro " book this lesson then yells at me for not having
written the title in my book, even though she hasn't started the lesson or even written the title on the board. When I point this out to the teacher another
student already distracts her. After twenty minutes, the tiredness sets in and hinders my work effort. The headache from that morning begins to throb
and my eyes are itchy and bloodshot.
The mountain scenery contrasts against the blockish and uninspiring appearance of the school, as it leaves a light and breezy atmosphere. The sea

Personal Reflection : My Educational Experience
Education
My educational experience is one amazing thing I would never forget. My parents gave me an experience of a lifetime that I would never let go
and continue to expand. It was a gift of a great education I could have tossed away but instead I took advantage of it and it expanded my intellect and
made me more independent. As a young girl my parents always told me, they wanted a great educational experience for me. They said no matter what
it took to get me into good schools, to have a great education they will do it. My parents worked very hard to give me the opportunity to be in private
school my whole life since pre–school. They always told me to work hard, be bright and be bold. The educational level I had being in private school
my whole life was amazing. What was amazing about my education level is that I was able to take all college prep. classes, I took an AP Spanish class,
my teachers were always on top of us to hand in work in time, essays in my English class were based on a college level writing. It was amazing
because my school expanded my mind more on a college based level.
From pre–school till sixth grade I was in private school that was co–ed I switched to four different private schools since I was younger. For pre–school
I went to St.Micheal which was an experience to have been able to encounter. Being able to learn about religion, other languages, and different
cultures. Going in to kindergarten till third grade I went to St. George it was a good

My High School Year Essay
There was a point in my time where I enjoyed school and took pleasure in attending school and that was elementary. Those were the best school years
of my life, having nothing to care about, the school lunch was unbelievably amazing and we had recess. Middle school was manageable but was also
beginning to become tough because the classes were becoming difficult. As we approach the beginning of ourhigh school career, parents and teachers
always tell us students that it's the best four years of our life, which in my case I did not find high school fascinating or enjoyable. I found high
school to be very stressful, overwhelming and not easy, understanding that the next four years of my life will be filled with obstacles and
challenges that I will face. I knew that I would have challenges with my courses, but I did not think I would have trouble with my emotions such as
feeling depressed, sad, or that I would cry every other day, but to some teachers or parents thought it was normal for teenagers because we are going
through different phases of our life. My freshman year was probably the best year of my high school year but I did face many challenges. I was
immature, did not obey my teachers, always getting in some sort of trouble. I was carefree, fun, outgoing and had decent memories whether they were
good memories or bad memories. Towards the middle of my freshman year I found out that I had Hyperthyroidism, and was quite confused and did not
understand what it meant. As I

My Favorite Day In School

  • 1. My Favorite Day In School At the South Harrison Elementary School it was some what cold because it was around the winter time. When I walk into the school I turn to go down the hallway. I turn once more to get to my classroom. My home room teacher was Mrs. Henry. I thought she was the best teacher in fourth grade. Our first class was math class which I was always good at math because I was smart. We were in the classroom and we were doing easy math like subtraction and addition. Then after that we did some games on our computer for easy fractions and easy decimals. After that we did a few math assignments on decimals and fractions. Then we picked up our computers and turned in all of our assignments. Then it was time for the next class which was science. I wasn't...show more content... These past few weeks we were reading The Titanic. I especially thought this book was stupid because the girls in my class told me it was probably going to be romantic and only a little bit adventure packed. But when we got into it more I got more enthusiastic. I still didn't think it was a good book. But I knew I had to pay attention because we always did questions afterwards. Today we would have to do questions on chapter twelve. So we started reading and the first person she calls on is one of my friends sitting next to me. He starts reading and when he is reading I am thinking what would happen if she called on me. I thought that because I was not a good reader. I would always mess up on words and I am one of the slow readers. Then she says we have to read two chapters. So she reads the rest of the first little chapter. I knew after she read I was going to get picked. But she kept picking my friends. So I was crossing my fingers she would not call on me to read. Then she calls another one of my friends from my table. Then she said a few pages before we were done she said we had to do questions together. I thought that made it so much worse because I would even get more likely to get picked. But Mrs. Henry picked Jastin to read then Rowan. Then she read the last paragraph. She asked My friend that was a table away to answer the first question. The question was something about what happened when the pencils scraped the man's hands when he was reaching Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Reflection On My Educational Experience Essay My family, culture, educational, professional experiences have all been positive. The different teachers that I have had; guided me into considering the teaching career for many reasons. First, my family has guided me, my mom and dad have always found the right schools for me. They have pushed me to do hard things that make me scared. They have had faith in the school's that I chose were the right choices, and they will grow on me. My cultural experience is also a factor of why I want to be a teacher. My schools have been centered on helping students who have learning differences, so I have always been open about having a learning difference to other people. My educational experience has been amazing. It has been positive for me because the schools I have gone to were safe places that I could be myself. The teachers at my schools made a significant impact on me starting at a young age. The professional experience has been limited but beneficial. I worked at Stratford Friends School; I learned it is so much fun to work with children who were just like me. I love the children and school. I get excited about going back to school shopping. I love to dance in the isles, and I love to look at all the beautiful school supplies. I want to be a special education teacher for many reasons. First, the community has made a big impact on me. I know how the children feel to be struggling in school. I want them to know that I also struggled in school and I still achieved my dream. I love Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Essay on Why Students Should Go to School Why should students go to school? There are several reasons why kids need to go to school but to me, the top three reasons are getting an education helps you go farther in life, it's required by the state that you go till you reach a certain age, and it will help you learn social skills and help you be comfortable to talking to people. Although students may not like going to school, it benefits them in the long run. It is important for students to go to school to get an education. Even though some students may not like to go to school it is required that they go. Even though students may not realize it but they also learn social skills by making friends and talking in front of people. It's significant for students to go to school so...show more content... If you ever went into a business where you had to do a presentation on a piece of work you've been working on or if you came up with a new idea that you thought could help your business, you would most likely have to present the information in front of your boss and coworkers. Having social skills could play a big role in your presentation because if you was not comfortable talking in front of a crowd, then you could either: freeze up while talking, talk too fast cause you're so nervous and want to get the presentation over with, your face could turn red, etc. But, if you had social skills and were use to talking in front of a group of people then you will be comfortable presenting your project with no worries. Also by socializing students can make friends. By making friends school could also be more enjoyable. You will have friends to eat lunch with; friends to hang out with on the weekends and you will have friends in your classes so they will be less boring. If you went to a school where you didn't have any friends or where you didn't like anyone, then you will not enjoy the activities you may do in class and you may want to change schools to find kids that you do like and will enjoy being around. By having social skills it will help you talk to people and make friends. Students may not like going to school but, it is for the best. By going to school students can get an education and get a job or go to college and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. School Improvement Essay School improvement is transformation. It is one of the most important actions of a school. It is a process that schools must use with fidelity to ensure that at all students are given the opportunity to perform and achieve at exemplary levels. School improvement is vital to schools and it is a process that cannot be done in isolation. It requires team work, collaboration, and constant analysis of data and setting of goals. School improvement goals focus on how to meet the needs of students. Addressing the educational needs, funding, and achievement gaps between subgroups is collaborative effort involves everyone that has a vested interest in the schools. These basic measures set the foundation for improvement. And so, if it is the...show more content... This is the most difficult step for schools, however, when working together, with urgency and a mindset to improve, total transformation will occur. As we review and synthesize data of a district for planning school improvement, the following information is needed to access and determine the needs of a school. First, a thorough analysis of performance data must be reviewed to see how school districts measure up with state and federal accountability. During this process, it is very important that schools focus the performance indicators that will guarantee growth and success. School teams must refer to the districts mission and vision to guide the planning process. The performance indicators will provide data that will be beneficial in creating improvement strategies. So, after careful evaluation of the data, the next step would be to plan effective methods and strategies that will improve student achievement. Moreover, this plan should include needs, demographics and opportunities for students to be successful. Additionally, the baseline data is important information to include in the improvement plan. Data is always the best resource for trying to improve student achievement. The data will help guide continuous improvement of a plan. There are four types of data that will be beneficial to any team during the planning phase of the school improvement process. Demographics data, achievement data, perception Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Stay in School, Persuasive Essay To make good money as an adult, you must have a good job. To have a good job, you must get a good education and go to college. To go to college, you have to go to high school and elementary school. If you drop out or don't go to school at all, you'll go nowhere. Life today, money is everything, and I think that the foundation of getting a good job is the education you get in the first 20–25 years of your life. School does not only teach subjects like English, Math, History, or Science, but it also lets us meet new people and build good character. Stay in school, because it will help you meet new people, build good character, and will also get you to a job that you will love. A lot of jobs in today's society require you to talk to...show more content... To become trustworthy, you have to work your way up to become trusted by your classmates and/or close friends. If you are good at keeping secrets, that's one way to know you are trustworthy. But this does not show your employer that you are trustworthy. It's just something that you can tell your employer to show something about yourself that you are trustworthy. Also, some jobs require resumes in their applications. If you have been fired in a previous job because of stealing money or just being lazy, other jobs your try to apply for will be hard because they won't be able to trust you. That's why staying at a good school will help you build the trustworthy, responsible character you'll need to find a job you love. Loving what you do is something really important because it is something you have to go through until you retire when you're around 65 years old. It will really be hard to work in a job for over 30 years if you don't enjoy it. For example, if you don't get paid as much as you want and you also don't enjoy what you do, it could be because of the choices you made in school. If you want what's best for yourself that you know you love and you are good at, you should take advantage of the education you have before you graduate college. For example, if you know you are good at biology, and you think it is interesting, going towards the medical field and being a doctor might be the best option for you. If you are good and love biology but you Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay on School Safety: Protecting the Students School Safety: Protecting the Students For many students a positive academic environment is increasingly harder to obtain. This is mainly due to their lack of safety. Whether it be inside the classroom or out. Unfavorable situations at home, psychological stability, physical dangers and violence all contribute to this evident shortage. There have been investigations on how organizations, teachers and parents collaborate together in today's society to influence the students understanding of safety in school. The purpose of this paper is to display some examples of each aforementioned contribution and show some of the current measures being taken to aid today's students. Developments within the past decade have opened up new ways...show more content... And with not caring about safety, leads to not caring of academics. As stated in the NEA article, This positive academic environment begins with safe families and safe communities, statistically, schools continue to be one of the most secure places for our children. When that is taken away from a student, they have no drive anymore to follow through with their education. A lot of the time weaponry is involved. Children find guns in parent's drawers, or just while they are playing at their friend's house. Older brothers and sisters who might be involved in gangs might have weapons lying around or even feel its cool to show off to their younger siblings and their friends. However, some of the worst violence is not weaponry. It is the harassment from student to student. Psychological stability is a big issue today when it comes to safety. Peer pressure has left children feeling the need to concentrate more on the popular things to do, then what is best for the student; an education. In fact, Hazler, Hoover, and Oliver (1996) reported that three–fourths of the school students they surveyed indicated that they experienced harassment and bullying to such an extent that they suffered academic, personal, and social difficulties (Hernandez). Bullying can impact a child when it comes to learning. Having someone of the same age, belittle, embarrass, and put a child down, most of the time leads the child to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. My High School Journey At the beginning of my high school journey, it was scary. Just the thought of a new school, meeting new people, and the fact that this would be my last years before becoming an "adult" and getting closer to college, was unbelievable, yet scary. My high school journey had many ups and down. These ups and downs vary because I experienced them in my academics and socially. I can't forget that I learned a lot and met many different personalities, with people whom I trust and had many great times. Also as growing up throughout high school, I'm slowly seeing who I am. I know this is not the end of life, just a great piece of my life will end and everything will soon change again. I can give so many advices to just start off great at the beginning of anyone's high school journey. I think it's important to join clubs, activities,or sports so you can meet new people. It's important to surround yourself with people who will take their education seriously because at the end of high school, you will see how far you got by being surrounded with positive people and that's a benefit because you concentrate and achieve excellent grades and that leads to good colleges. Also, joining more clubs and participating looks great with your cap and gown at the graduation! Another advice is do NOT procrastinate, I have done it so many times and it sucks to sleep late and wake up early and by doing so, you avoid stress which is a pain in the butt. Do not they want to enjoy luxury and comforts in their youth? Surely, students want to enjoy their youth with luxury and comforts. They can not judge themselves because they have no scale of judgment. It is the instructor only who judges the students comparatively and gives grades to them accordingly. In this way, by receiving their grades students recognize their positions in the class. If their positions came to be low, they then try to achieve higher positions by working hard because they want to achieve their goal of becoming great persons. As it is the nature of all the human beings that no...show more content... The farmer does his best to make his fields fit for better growth of the crops only in the hope of getting a good variety of crops so that they may help him in earning high money. If he will not be able to get high money by producing a good variety of crops he will probably increase his working hours to achieve his purpose because he does his work only for earning money to live in. Similar is the case with the students. Students work because they want their instructor to give them high grades. Their future career depends on their grades they have made at this level. If they got high grade their future will be bright because everyone gives credit to grades. Therefore, if students will get credit for their work they will work even better for getting more and more credit. Otherwise, they will shirk work hard. Furthermore, God will also give rewards to those people who have done good deeds in this world. That is why; all people do their best of doing good deeds so that they may be able to get reward from God on their sacrifices and hardships. If there would be no reward from God, no one would want to do good deeds by facing hardships. Every one would be free to committing sins or other bad deeds which will results in turmoil of the world. Same is the case with the students. If the instructor gives them grades for their individual work they will Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. My Educational Background Of School My educational background began with me attending public school for about three years, then I went to catholic school. Middle school was the best part of my education. In middle school I was given the opportunity to express myself creatively through dance, drama, writing, and with my voice. I attended a school of arts for one year; I noticed some changes that I was not familiar with when I was at student at catholic school. While in catholic school we studied a curriculum that included science, math, language, and social studies, but religion was dominant over all the material. At the school of the arts, I studied the same materials but the religion was absent, instead we were offered creative classes such as dance, drama, band, and vocal chorus. In addition to the curriculum there were the projects, for example, the science fair and social studies fair projects. I have always liked to be unique and creative and I would use these projects to show that. I was even fortunate enough to be accepted to attend Martin Luther King Magnet High School, neither myself nor my parents had considered this as an opportunity. As a student at MLK, I learned I would have to push myself and give extra effort in order to make the grade. The educators believed in high quality learning objectives, as students we were required to analyze information and compare and contrast, instead of completing simple assignments where we would recall information. I studied seven or eight subjects per day and I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Essay about school days Now that I am coming to the end of high school and to the beginning of my college education, it scares me to death. Going to school has been one of my biggest priorities and the most routine part of my life for the past thirteen years. I have many more years to get through, but the years that I spent in elementary school and junior high were the most memorable. I have learned so much since then, it has made me a different person today. I have so many memories from my earlier years in school. I especially remember how much easier it was back then and how much harder it is becoming now as I get older. I started off by going to Peppermint Patty preschool in I do not remember much...show more content... Especially since I would always get in trouble for it. For some reason I do not remember much about first grade. I do not know if it was because it was just a boring year of school or because I just did not like the teacher. One thing I do remember about first grade is that I won the spelling bee. That was a big accomplishment for me in first grade. I think the challenge of first grade was the whole reading concept. Learning how to read is very difficult for a little six year old. I was actually very good at reading, which made me enjoy first grade a little more. I am just glad that it is over with. When I was in second grade it was a big year for me. The main reason is because I made my First Holy Communion. My family is very religious and they were very proud of me for making my Communion. My teacher in second grade was Mrs. Lignowski. She was an old women, but she was very nice. The main subject in second grade was of course religion, so it was not very exciting was a child, but it means a lot in my life now. We would take many trips across the street to the church and practice what we would do in a mass. I remember being absolutely terrified to make a confession with Father Hanley. That was part of making your first Communion so we had to do it. I of course did not confess my sins face–to–face, so I went in the confessional booth. It is done and over with now, it still kind of makes me nervous if I were to do it to this day. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. It is common that most people believe success means having a high–powered job and earning a lot of money. However, to a great extent, success is defined as a situation in which a person has achieved his/her goal and is able to support him/herself morally and financially after completing the educational process. In school thorough a good education, students learn how to plan to achieve their goals. They also learn how to think critically and creatively, and improve the other skills they need. By exploring different subjects and fields they recognize their interests and abilities which lead them to achieve success. In schools students are encouraged to overcome their weaknesses through their strengths. John Gatto is imprudent when he stated ...show more content... However, teachers try to teach their students to think critically by encouraging them to ask questions like "Why do I think that", "What would happen if...", or "How are these two things different" before doing any projects or learning any new subjects. The other skill which is taught in school is problem solving skill which seems to be related to critical thinking. As Albert Einstein believes, "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them" (Harris). Thinking in a critical way, evaluating and understanding the relationship among the problem give a person a new perspective to look at the problem differently in order to solve it. Learning to communicate effectively with others is another skill which is taught to the students. Doing presentation is a very common and good example for building students' communication skills. Almost every subject in secondary school requires presentations, and as a result, the students learn how to communicate with peers through discussions and gathering information. These skills prepare students to pursue future opportunities beyond secondary school. Most schools offer students variety of courses that they can choose from, but the majority of students don't have any ideas of what they might be interested in and what they should pursue in future life. They can't blindly predict what they would enjoy until they have enough information. Confused students can get help Get more content on HelpWriting.net

You may have learned about math, science, social studies, and language arts but only a handful of students actually learn lifelong lessons to be in a productive society. School holds many things in its classrooms and hallways. Having great teachers and mentors will benefit you in school. Their wisdom and knowledge will contribute to you in ways unimaginable. School can teach you plenty and these are a couple of the many of things I have learned over the 3 years I have attended Eagles Landing Middle School. • 13. How Education Has Changed My Life Essay These past four years have really been a life changing experience. From a childish freshmen not only at school but at home too, to a still sometimes childish senior, one who knows when and how to control himself. This school and its teachers have taught me so many lessons that will not be forgotten any time soon. You can probably imagine how nervous and maybe even a little timorous I was, my first day at Barstow High. It was not very simple to get accustomed to, coming from Hinkley School, which contained approximately four hundred and fifty students at most, to a big crowded hall ways of Barstow. Yea some people think she is though on her students, that's because she is but I think that it has a purpose. She gives some challenging assignment that nobody wants to do but somehow she motivates us to complete them. I remember two projects that were fun and effective, not only as school work but to help sharpen our people skills. One of those projects was to write a children's story book based on an activist from the civil rights movement. Once we completed our book we took part in a field trip to two elementary schools here in Barstow, once there we assigned to a five person groups and we also received a list with the room numbers that we were to visit. We read our books to first as well as to second graders. After we I finished I had some of the children write their named on the back of my book. The second project we were assigned that year and that I enjoyed was to research two authors from the 1800s or so, in collaboration with a partner that we got assigned to. For the first author we had the option to either create a power point presentation or create our own website about that particular author. This gives the educator the opportunity to include various techniques of learning critical to global awareness. Visions statements guide one to a successful future. A vision is considerably created after a mission statement to determine future goals that are to be achieved. Vision statements complements mission statements, but transcends them as visions describes the future (Abelman, 2009). This takes into account the direction in which one wishes to pursue. Educators create a vision to determine expectations of students and the concepts that teachers want students to render. 21st Century also establishes ways for educators and students to diligently progress in the areas of skillful learning along with information and technology literacy. • 16. Persuasive Essay About School Change School! How do you see the school? How do other people see the school? Should school still exist or continue? Should they radically change? Should teachers get paid more? Should they teach more? Make it easier to go to college? What do you think your school should change? What should they add or take away? There are so many questions. There's a lot of opinions and disagreements. What do I think about school? Some people say we shouldn't have school. Hi I'm a fellow student, that's in the 9th grade and these are my opinion about school. In my opinion, school is preparing us for jobs and more. We are in school for a good 8 hours, most likely we be working 8 hours or more doing jobs. People think they can learn on their own. So you telling me you can learn other languages, chemistry/biology, mathematics, and etc. I think not! School helps us out a lot if you really look at it. By teaching us step by step. Focusing on our main problem. School is starting a radical change. As the years go by schools are changing (radically). I honestly like looking through the books instead of looking online. Reading and writing is the right way, the old fashion way. Don't get me wrong online is a good use too. I would like to stay between really. Read and write, I feel like I learn a lot better that way and memorized it a lot more. Let's say the largest is 15–27 students. The teacher has a bad and good students. The bad students have been acting up lately and their influence the good students to act a fool. Now the class is a racket. Just imagine you going through that every day. That's's stressful and tiring. You may say principal or call their parents. Come on now that don't always work. You never know how the parents going to act or say back in response. • 17. Essay on A Day in School Life A Day in School Life The day begins with a high–pitched yell, "moooooooorninnnnng" from my mother. I wake up tired with a headache as I think I have a cold. I rush to leave the house, my father complains about the lack of urgency in my movement by shouting out the time every five minutes. There is not enough time to drink my tea; the tea burns my tongue as I gulp it down my throat, leaving a nasty taste. I ran as fast as I can towards my bus stop. The teacher is absent so I am free to take part in a conversation with my friend concerning the weekend. The teacher next door keeps telling us to keep quiet. For some reason the rest of my fellow students feel the need to shout and keep getting louder after each complaint. The second period begins. The teacher ignores my enquiries as to whether we will be using the "metro " book this lesson then yells at me for not having written the title in my book, even though she hasn't started the lesson or even written the title on the board. When I point this out to the teacher another student already distracts her. After twenty minutes, the tiredness sets in and hinders my work effort. The headache from that morning begins to throb and my eyes are itchy and bloodshot. The mountain scenery contrasts against the blockish and uninspiring appearance of the school, as it leaves a light and breezy atmosphere. The sea breeze carries a sense of freshness, which promotes an industrious work ethic. However, during the summer months the stifling heat and humidity

My parents gave me an experience of a lifetime that I would never let go and continue to expand. It was a gift of a great education I could have tossed away but instead I took advantage of it and it expanded my intellect and made me more independent. As a young girl my parents always told me, they wanted a great educational experience for me. They said no matter what it took to get me into good schools, to have a great education they will do it. My parents worked very hard to give me the opportunity to be in private school my whole life since pre–school. They always told me to work hard, be bright and be bold. • 20. My High School Year Essay There was a point in my time where I enjoyed school and took pleasure in attending school and that was elementary. Those were the best school years of my life, having nothing to care about, the school lunch was unbelievably amazing and we had recess. Middle school was manageable but was also beginning to become tough because the classes were becoming difficult. As we approach the beginning of ourhigh school career, parents and teachers always tell us students that it's the best four years of our life, which in my case I did not find high school fascinating or enjoyable. I found high school to be very stressful, overwhelming and not easy, understanding that the next four years of my life will be filled with obstacles and challenges that I will face. I knew that I would have challenges with my courses, but I did not think I would have trouble with my emotions such as feeling depressed, sad, or that I would cry every other day, but to some teachers or parents thought it was normal for teenagers because we are going through different phases of our life. My freshman year was probably the best year of my high school year but I did face many challenges. I was immature, did not obey my teachers, always getting in some sort of trouble. I was carefree, fun, outgoing and had decent memories whether they were good memories or bad memories. Towards the middle of my freshman year I found out that I had Hyperthyroidism, and was quite confused and did not understand what it meant. As I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
