As part of major changes in the Adecco Group Procurement Department, we are
currently offering the opportunity to join Adecco as Senior IM Procurement Manager
APAC, reporting to the IM Group Procurement Senior Manager
Based either in Melbourne, Tokyo or Singapore, you are involved, together with your
colleagues, in a variety of IM Procurement activities & sourcing projects (application
development, infrastructure, hardware, software, outsourcing contracts,
telecommunication, etc.) for the APAC zone (primarily but not limited to Japan, Australia,
Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong)
Among others procurement activities, this mission covers:
Development, definition and implementation of APAC Sourcing Strategies by
analysis of spend and detailed understanding of the supply markets
Build strong relationships and network with the IM organization in order to set
sourcing priorities, communicate strategies, understand and develop the
stakeholder requirements
Develop and manage Supplier Relationships, including leading negotiation of
contracts, contract performance and service delivery
Practice and lead the use of common, efficient, ethical Procurement processes
Operate the purchasing process (Order to Pay) in compliance with established
tools & processes
A key component of the role will be your ability to take a pro-active approach,
challenging the status quo. You will be expected to devise creative solutions focusing on
continuous improvement in order to drive through decisions to improve IM performance.
This position will involve travels, mainly in Asia.
MISSIONS
Under the supervision of the IM Group Procurement Senior Manager , manage a
variety of negotiations and sourcing projects together with stakeholders and IM
Procurement team members
Provide market & technical knowledge to the internal clients
Assist in the definition and specification of the requirements of internal clients,
insuring appropriateness & relevance of the requirements to market and budget
conditions
Be responsible for operational and transactional procurement activities
Develop new contracts (Terms & Conditions, SLA, Financials etc…) increasing
overall service quality while reducing total cost of ownership
Ensure the reporting of all Procurement activities to the IM Group Procurement

EXPERIENCE &
EDUCATION
Education: minimum 2 year studies after high school’s diploma
Required experience: at least 5 years in IT Procurement
Knowledge of IT terminology is a must
Very good project management skills
Strong negotiations skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
English: fluent business level is a must (additional languages as Japanese, will be
considered as a plus).
