2. In most fairy tales the characters need
to solve or overcome something.

3. There is always a happy ending where
things end up better than they were
before.

4. This is one of those times.
For a while, we are going on a journey
which will mean we need to stay apart
until things are made better.

5. I know lots of you are worried about a
virus that is making people sick.

6. Our wonderful doctors and nurses are
working very hard to make people
better and find a cure.

7. The people in charge of our country
think they can look after us better and
find the cure quicker if we stay apart
for a while.
So we must do what they say.

8. Your teachers and pupil support
workers will be teaching and caring for
you in a different way.

9. We will be using digital ways to teach
you and check in on you.
Nursery to Primary 3 will use the blog
and Primary 4 to Primary 7 will use
glow teams.

10. Keep working hard and try your best.

11. I will be checking in on your home
learning and I will be talking to your
teachers about how you are doing.

12. Listen to your mum, dad, carers,
grandparents and what they are
telling you.

13. Remember to always be kind to
each other.

14. Please help with chores around the
house and remember this is only for a
short time.

15. Always remember to talk to
someone about your worries.

16. Primary 7, don’t worry!
We will celebrate your time at PUSCPS
and your transition to high school
when the time is right.

17. We will be back together soon, I
promise. Playing, laughing and
learning together.
