create a blog to expand on
your 140 characters.
3. Blogs. What are they, how do you get started
and what are the many ways you can use Blogs
to increase your visibility in the social media
universe? According to Wikipedia, “A blog is a
discussion or informational site published on
the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete
entries (“posts”) typically displayed in reverse
chronological order (the most recent post
appears first).”
4. Blogs can have many uses, so what does that mean
for business? Blogs are a great way to keep the
world up to date on what issues your customers are
facing, their successes, upcoming
events, products, etc. If it’s education, blog about
that. If you want to showcase a new product line or
information about what your company can
offer, write it down. A blog can be anything you
want it to be, use this freedom to explore your
creative side. Be sure no to write these with your
“sales hat” on. Blogs are meant to be
informative, usually tying in a story or anecdote.

• Discuss or introduce upcoming events
• Provide value added educational articles
