Enactus UK is a charity that develops young social entrepreneurs through social action and enterprise projects. It works with over 30,000 students and 65 universities across the UK. [Students launch over 200 social enterprise projects each year addressing issues like poverty, the environment, and social issues. Some highlights include projects like Future Brew, which makes beer from surplus bread to address food waste and help families, and HydroGrow, an urban hydroponics initiative working with schools to provide education on sustainability.] Enactus connects students with over 200 corporate advisors and supports employability events for students. They encourage people to get involved as judges, coaches or volunteers.

Future Brew was founded to bolster the battle against climate change and increasing
macro food waste by making beer out of surplus bread, employing beneficiaries in the
supply chain and providing meals to vulnerable families.

HydroGrow is an Urban sustainable hydroponics initiative which helps to tackle issues around water and
food insecurity from over usage and wastage through the ability to ‘pick as you need’ from your
hydroponics system. Since 2020, HydroGrow have been working with schools in London to provide
education on environmental science and STEM subjects to give a deeper understanding of the knowledge
and skills necessary for a generation who will be on the forefront of a climate crisis.

Ecologeco’s mission is to reduce the methane emissions produced and released by cows. We aim to
achieve this impact through introducing a food supplement into the diet of the cattle, which will
eliminate the enzymes that produce methane in their stomach. Research so far has found that
Asparagopsis Taxiformis seaweed is able to reduce methane emissions by up to 99%.
