My Proudest Personal Complishments
1) What are your proudest personal accomplishments? One of my proudest personal accomplishment is becoming a polyglot. I am fluent in
Chinese, Portuguese, German, English, and currently learning Spanish. My goal is to become a Global Citizen to help people in the world. In a
Ted talk, James Nachtwey talks about growing up and having enough power to help more people. Hence, I want to become a polyglot to smooth
out my path by being able to comprehend the language of other countries. Moreover, learning to lead a discussion in English class was a great
accomplishment. My class this year had to read a novel, All American Boys, this book is from the perspective of two boys with a similar point of
views but different races. Thus, a student was signed up to come to class with questions to start a discussion from the reading. When it was my
turn to lead the debate, I came up with some obstacles. First was to make sure the question was not a yes or no problems, or else, the classmates are
unable to start a discussion. Also, the most significant issue was to encourage everyone participated. Another of my accomplishments is going to
Iceland on a school field trip without my family. In this trip, I learned to become independent. I had to keep track money, belongings, and schedule to
accompany the group. 2) What are two good decisions you have made? It was a great decision coming to the US because it gave challenges and a new
experience. Furthermore, I adapted from a warm

Personal Accomplishments: A Personal Analysis
"Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough." Growing up with anxiety wasn't an easy thing to deal with during
my years of high school. From the weight loss to the nightmares to physiological problems I was dealing with. I asked myself "why me" and why did
I have to experience so much right now. Sometimes I thought God was punishing me. I always thought that my life was worse than others and that no
one understood me. I realized my life isn't all that bad compared to others who had it even worse than me. Also, the path I'm walking isn't an easy
one. It made me realized that life and things aren't handed to you and you have to fight and overcome obstacles just like a warrior.
I could just sit here and just brag about my accomplishments during my high school years and my extracurricular...show more content...
Those initial couple of weeks will stay in my memory as the most agonizing experience of my life up to this point. I wasn't able to do any school work
because of extraordinary physical torment . I had next to zero physical strength in my body. The agony developed to the point it affected my lower
back and my stomach. Every day, I had a migraine for at least more than five hours. Not getting enough sleep and protein made it worse for me to
survive or even function. For me to sleep, I had to take three Benadryls every night and then I started to get used to it to where it didn't help me at
all. Nothing was working for me so I decide to go to an adolescent partial program and where I met other kids that had similar problems like me.
Hearing their stories actually created a path for me to become stable again. Before I came, all I thought about was "why was I born" and "I wish I
was dead" but meeting these kids changed my life because I wanted to succeed for them and other people that struggled like

What am I about? I am about pushing through challenges, always ariving brighter at the end of the tunnel. My visions are focused, but I leave room
for distractions in my day–to–day, intentionally or unintentionally. I am about people, and I am about doing the right thing. I am not a perfect person,
but I do believe I am a decent one. What have I already achieved? If I am correct in my interpretation, achievement does not mean just positive
accomplishments––it stands for accomplishments, period. Following this interpretation, I have accomplished both failure and success. My parents
tell me they are proud of me. My teachers tell me I will go far in life, however, the boldest assessment of one's achievements are always their own. I
know what I am capable of. From the outside it might not appear so, yet I know my weakness and thus shy away from praise. My practical positive
accomplishments include, but are not limited to: graduating from highschool as an active leader on campus in class, NHS, and ASB (associate
student body) positions, a 3.9 GPA, a two year overseas missionary, a trustworthy and dependable teacher's assistant, and a reputation that
encompasses all of this in personality characteristics. I made varsity sports as a sophomore (though that is not as "big" of an accomplishment in
academys). I have an excellent grip on what I want for my future. I know what I am capable of; therefore, I know when I do not rise above what is
required of me. I majored in minimums in

Personal Narrative: My Accomplishments
I started my freshmen year in high school with a negative attitude and had no goals set for myself. I didn't even know if I wanted to go to college,
so I didn't take anything seriously. I didn't really care about my grades or gpa. However, throughout the years, I matured immensely, and devoted
myself in school. I started to care about my grades and how they reflected me. I joined clubs, and started attending tutoring to increase my
knowledge. I proceeded to challenge myself by taking harder classes to raise my GPA. My junior year I set a goal to achieve straight "A's" through
the whole year, which I successfully achieved through dedication. I continued to set goals for myself for my senior year. I challenged myself by taking

Since I was a child I have always been obsessed with cameras. It started out with always wanting to be in front of them, the main attraction. However
as I grew older I became more involved in the way a camera works and the ideas and memories that they carry. When I was younger I would sometimes
spend two to four hours posing in front of a camera with pliers on the back of my dress just to keep it from falling off or standing next to a child's
refrigerator that was the same size as me just for one picture for a Target ad or a Fingerhut magazine that may not even end up in the advertisement.
I was a child model for seven years, scouted out at the ripe age of two months where I was then thrown into the modeling industry. I learned to smile the

One of my main accomplishments I am most proud of is earning the Outstanding Junior Male Athlete Award in grade 10. This award is presented to
one individual per grade, and is earned by showing exceptional leadership, commitment and skill. Being a part of the basketball, volleyball and
badminton teams, I worked very hard at maintaining a balance between my school work and my extracurriculars. I was dedicated to whatever I was
doing and I was very passionate about sports, which led to my accomplishment. Another one of my accomplishments was getting my first job as a
cashier for a fast food restaurant. At that time, I was shy and never liked interacting with others. However, after getting hired, I learned a lot about
communication, customer service

Personal Narrative: My Personal Accomplishments
My personal accomplishment has taught me a lot about myself and who I am as a person. It taught me how much strength I actually have within
myself that I never in a million years thought I had. It was hundred times more difficult that I thought it was going to be going into it. This challenge
that I feel that has been an important demonstration of a personal accomplishment is when I attended a student trooper program a couple of years ago.
It was back when I was seventeen and a junior in high school. It was a week long program that was basically boot camp. When i got my acceptance
letter into the program I was ecstatic. I was so excited to be able to experience everything the program was going to show me. There was a list of

I'm passionate about a few things in life, but primarily in helping small businesses become successful. Several years into my career, I discovered that
I am a magnate for solving problems with a strong obsession for consistently striving for perfection, which works well for the companies and the
people I assist.
In 2012, I attended Temple University's certification program for Business Administration & Secretarial Services. This accomplishment was a staple in
reaffirming my expertise as an administrative support professional.
In summary, if your current setting isn't resulting in increased profits, more customers or foot track, then I am the person you call when you need

5. Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. [Revised]
"Are you sure you want to do this? It's going to be a lot of work." Those were the discouraging words of our three moms as my team of two girls and
myself signed the contract ensuring that we'd participate in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student of the Year Campaign. I thought a short,
7–week campaign to raise money to find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma would be a piece of cake. Cancer was also a personal subject to me since
my mom recently became a victorious breast cancer survivor. December 8, 2017 was the date of our first official team meeting. I came up with our
team name, "Help Is In Our Blood," which I ended up winning an award for at the grand finale. We set our initial goal of raising $5,000, but we had
our doubts about achieving it. How could three high school girls raise $5,000? This was new territory for us, however, we were determined to
succeed. The three of us had weekly...show more content...
What set "Help Is In Our Blood" apart from the other teams was our community involvement and education. We wanted our community to hear us and
want to participate. We rented out the Lido Theatre for a screening of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," we had a wine–tasting event for adults, we held a
GRIT Cycle "Karma Ride," and we did a March Madness Basketball Tournament. Not every event was a big money raiser, but collectively the
events reached our community and touched people. People wanted to support us. As the donations started rolling in and checks were being received
in the mail, the money we raised increased and increased. It was only 2 weeks after our campaign launch and we surpassed our goal of $5,000. At
our weekly meeting, our LLS advisor pushed us to bump our goal up to $15,000 and so we did. It was all very exciting and exhausting at the same

Personal Accomplishments
To accomplish anything in life, you have to start somewhere. Achievements, family life, values, aspirations and beliefs all exhibit who you are.
Obstacles that I have faced throughout my life have molded me into the person I am today.
Several achievements in my life define who I am as a man such as graduating top of my class in high school, and finally achieving my main goal of
becoming a college student. Throughout my years of high school, college was always the number one priority for me. I excelled in the classroom
not only for the sake of my family but mainly for the sake of my future. Once making it to college, I became aware of the many distractions that
were surrounding me. To exceed in the classroom, I knew that I would have to limit these distractions. Parties and woman were the number one
distraction for me and plenty others. Aside from these distractions, I still managed to remain focused and keep my grades up. Family is the most
important thing to me aside from my schooling. Ever since I was young it was instilled in me that family was everything. My mother and father
made it clear that I had to protect my sister and vise versa for her. There was no time for hatred towards one another, and if there was a problem it
would be resolved whether we liked it or not. Because of that, they made my sister and I have a bond...show more content...
But as I began to look into more majors that interested me, Social Work caught my eye. Being in a family of three Social Workers I thought it would
be fitting for me because I saw that my relatives really enjoy the job that they do. Social Workers protect vulnerable children and support families in
need of assistance. They also help people solve and cope with problems in their everyday lives. Although SpecialEducation was my first option, I felt
that Social Work as a whole will allow me to leave a better impact on

My Greatest Accomplishment : My Family
My Greatest Accomplishment My Family Traditions come and go, but some may never change. Most families attempt to keep their traditions alive in
their family, whether is it be to do something small like names or something major such as huge celebrations for certain holidays. A tradition that
numerous of families seems to keep around, no matter their religion or country, is family dinners on a set day. This allows the families to spend this
day with each other, learning how everyone's week is going, if there is anything that needs done, or if there is any positive or negative news. A
local family has a traditional family night dinner on Sundays. They keep in touch throughout the week, but on Sundays they are able to see each
other face to face. Slowly, the three girls, Emily, Samantha, and Allison, are taking over cooking the meals. Their parents, grandparents, and uncles
are all pitching in to help the girls learn how to properly cook various foods such as hulushki, halupki, homemade pasta, and desserts like cannolis.
They are keeping with the tradition of making food to represent their heritage of being Polish and Italian. Other ways the Zaremba's represent their
Italian heritage is by having the Feast of Seven Fish before Christmas. This tradition is to have seven dishes of fish for Christmas Eve dinner; the
fish can vary from type of fish or if it is cooked in a certain way. Also "fish" entitles all seafood not just fish. This symbolizes a healthy Christmas. You
are required to fast, not eat, the week before ridding yourself of harmful ingredients like too much sugar.
Birth Announcement Denise and Chris Zaremba welcomed their third daughter into the world at 4:51 pm September 29, 2001. She weighed 7lbs and
9 oz. Her sisters aren't the happiest about having to deal with a younger sibling, but the rest of the family is astounded to have another baby in the
family.

Accomplishments Essay Back in the days of my childhood when I was young and free. Undisturbed of my actions and innocent as I could've been.
Playing my trombone was one of my favorite things to do. Naturally, I've joined the school band to meet other talented musicians. Eventually, we've
found ourselves being judged by adults and tested for greatness. It was in the midst of Spring. When the dead trees from winter were slowly revived
by the gentle sunlight. I took a step down from the bus and gazed at what was a ahead of me– a challenge. As the whole group arrived at the theater,
most of us were much "cooler" than I thought we would be. Many of us bragged how the competition against other bands will be nothing but I know

Personal Accomplishment: Why I Was Strong?
226456 Personal Accomplishment I had won. And I was sad. I had won against the strongest kid in my class, and I didn't know what to do. The
boy had bragged everyday "I'm the strongest, no one can beat me!" he'd say. One after another, students failed. Again and again. He beat me, which
isn't too hard to believe. he beat me once, twice, thrice, and every number after. He'd beat me, and cheer, taking joy in my failure. I was mad. Mad
that I'd lost, mad that he'd bragged. I thought, 'why is he so strong? Why am I so weak?' I had a plan though, to beat him at arm wrestling. I
convinced my parents to get a pair of weights, two six pound dumbbells. Each night I'd do one hundred reps for each arm. I practiced situps and
pushups. Each

What Is My Greatest Accomplishments
Greatest Accomplishments Now, as a ghost, I can look back at all the things I have done in the past. My accomplishments, my failures, my good
things, and my not so good things. In my younger days, my resume was very short, but as I grew older it was not so trivial and incomplete. It began to
germinate. I think that my greatest accomplishment was getting to be the second–hand man to the emperor. It meant everything to me. It had been my
dream since a very young age. To at least be important, and not so ordinary. Another accomplishment is all the voyages I led. Whenever I alighted
from the boat, I felt that I had a place in this community. What is so important to me, is the trace that I left behind. The stories that would be told about

Personal Accomplishment Analysis
Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself and others The view
from atop of Vernon Hill, a low–income neighborhood in Worcester, MA, is reflective both of my lineage and of my current identity with aspirational
academic and career goals. As Irish immigrants seeking a better life for their children, my great–grandparents moved to a three–decker house in this
neighborhood. Three generations later, I drive to Worcester Academy, on Vernon Hill for my lacrosse practices. I am surrounded by upper

class, mostly privileged, white, families from the suburbs who have the money to support their sons to play this exclusive sport. However, as I drive

When he speaks about his mother's homeland, I wonder about the cultural, linguistic, and social barriers that he confronts at Union Hill School as an
immigrant student. Behind his masquerade of resiliency is a lonely young boy who has not been given many opportunities to grow and reach his
potential. He has trouble concentrating and does not understand how studying is going to be of value to his life. When we sit together, I look at his
raggedy pants that are two sizes too small and compare his outfit to my pristine private–school uniform. This image is a metaphor for discrepancies in
our educational opportunities due to our different family and class backgrounds. I keep a stash of my old baseball cards in my backpack to reward
Rash when he completes a challenging problem. These cards, although practically worthless to me, are riches to him. I think of all the materialistic
privileges I take for granted and realize Rash doesn't even have his most basic human needs fulfilled – no warm house or loving parents and limited
food to fill his hungry belly. I try to serve as a role model for Rash, but sometimes become frustrated by my limitations as I want to give him more than

My accomplishments would include my high school diploma, college degree, my work accomplishments, and personal accomplishments. I'm the first
in my family to receive a college degree and that alone is a great accomplishment for me. I have been fully employed since the age of sixteen and have
worked in many different types of jobs while attending school. I received the title of training manager at my first job, and was in charge of training
the new employees. I worked at Herman Miller for a short period of time as a temp and had better quality control and more quantity produced then
prior workers. I have excelled at every job I have ever taken. I currently work in a position with only the boss and I. I'm highly trusted by my boss and

Personal Accomplishment In Piano
My most cherished personal accomplishment was when I won the studio awards in piano. I was awarded the studio award in piano, both for years
2014 and 2015. Indeed, this was important to me because I had worked earnestly for it. My piano teacher only gave out one studio award in piano at
the end of each school year. The winner of this award was the student who she believed had accomplished the most at thepiano that year. The year of
2014 was the year that I received my first studio award in piano. At the time, I had only been playing piano for two years. Truthfully, I was surprised
at my winning the studio award because though I may have improved in my piano playing from the previous year, I did not think of myself as a top
piano student. The reason why is because even though I loved...show more content...
There were quite a few reasons why I believe that I won for the studio award in piano for two years in a row. Though I was a third–year piano student
and felt confident in my piano playing, I was extremely nervous about playing a piece for the first time in the National Federation of Junior Festivals.
Yet, I ended up scoring an excellent on the National Federation of Junior Festivals held in my area at Bob Jones University. As a result, I was inspired
to take risks in my music repertoire, and challenge myself. Thus, I took on the serious task of learning one of Beethoven's most famous pieces: Fur
Elise. When I brought this difficult piece of music to my piano teacher to discuss the possibility of me learning it, she was a bit skeptical of my
ability, since I was only a third–year piano student. Despite this doubt, she allowed me to attempt to play this difficult, and dynamic piece of music.
As I continued to practice this piece, I fell in love with the energy and the beauty in the melody. In the end, I learned this piece of music by heart and
was able to play it with few

How To Write A Personal Accomplishment
A personal accomplishment that reflects my ability to succeed at Penn State is making varsity cheerleading my senior year of high school. Some
people don't count cheerleading as a sport because they think that all we do is stand there on the sidelines and look "pretty", but they don't know what
it takes to be a cheerleader. I got into cheerleading my sophomore year of highschool because some of my friends were trying out and I thought it'd
be a nice reason to hang out with my friends after school. After the first week of cheer I fell in love with every aspect of the sport. People don't
understand the teamwork and trust needed to do stunts. As a flyer, I must not be afraid to try new things and also to always trust my bases to always

My Accomplishments
I have had a lot of good accomplishments in my life but this one really sticks out to me. Last year I was a vocational student and I was in a program
where I could get my CNA. I never really thought I was going to be able to do it because there was so much to do in the class and so much to learn in
just one year. I remember my first day of clinical's and I was really nervous. Then it went by so fast and before I knew it was my last day of clinical's
and learned so much in such a short period of time. Then it was test day and I had to put all the thing's I learned about being a CNA into this test and I
didn't think I was going to pass it. We didn't know are scores for a week. Then they day came where we go to find out if we were a CNA and I passed.

makes me happy. Now I can go out and find a job in the hospital where I always wanted to be and work my way up to where I want to be. My plans for

My Proudest Personal Complishments

  • 1. My Proudest Personal Complishments 1) What are your proudest personal accomplishments? One of my proudest personal accomplishment is becoming a polyglot. I am fluent in Chinese, Portuguese, German, English, and currently learning Spanish. My goal is to become a Global Citizen to help people in the world. In a Ted talk, James Nachtwey talks about growing up and having enough power to help more people. Hence, I want to become a polyglot to smooth out my path by being able to comprehend the language of other countries. Moreover, learning to lead a discussion in English class was a great accomplishment. My class this year had to read a novel, All American Boys, this book is from the perspective of two boys with a similar point of views but different races. Thus, a student was signed up to come to class with questions to start a discussion from the reading. When it was my turn to lead the debate, I came up with some obstacles. First was to make sure the question was not a yes or no problems, or else, the classmates are unable to start a discussion. Also, the most significant issue was to encourage everyone participated. Another of my accomplishments is going to Iceland on a school field trip without my family. In this trip, I learned to become independent. I had to keep track money, belongings, and schedule to accompany the group. 2) What are two good decisions you have made? It was a great decision coming to the US because it gave challenges and a new experience. Furthermore, I adapted from a warm Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Personal Accomplishments: A Personal Analysis "Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough." Growing up with anxiety wasn't an easy thing to deal with during my years of high school. From the weight loss to the nightmares to physiological problems I was dealing with. I asked myself "why me" and why did I have to experience so much right now. Sometimes I thought God was punishing me. I always thought that my life was worse than others and that no one understood me. I realized my life isn't all that bad compared to others who had it even worse than me. Also, the path I'm walking isn't an easy one. I wasn't able to do any school work because of extraordinary physical torment . I had next to zero physical strength in my body. The agony developed to the point it affected my lower back and my stomach. Every day, I had a migraine for at least more than five hours. Not getting enough sleep and protein made it worse for me to survive or even function. For me to sleep, I had to take three Benadryls every night and then I started to get used to it to where it didn't help me at all. Nothing was working for me so I decide to go to an adolescent partial program and where I met other kids that had similar problems like me. Hearing their stories actually created a path for me to become stable again. Before I came, all I thought about was "why was I born" and "I wish I was dead" but meeting these kids changed my life because I wanted to succeed for them and other people that struggled like Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. What am I about? I am about pushing through challenges, always ariving brighter at the end of the tunnel. My visions are focused, but I leave room for distractions in my day–to–day, intentionally or unintentionally. I am about people, and I am about doing the right thing. I am not a perfect person, but I do believe I am a decent one. What have I already achieved? If I am correct in my interpretation, achievement does not mean just positive accomplishments––it stands for accomplishments, period. Following this interpretation, I have accomplished both failure and success. My parents tell me they are proud of me. My teachers tell me I will go far in life, however, the boldest assessment of one's achievements are always their own. I know what I am capable of. From the outside it might not appear so, yet I know my weakness and thus shy away from praise. My practical positive accomplishments include, but are not limited to: graduating from highschool as an active leader on campus in class, NHS, and ASB (associate student body) positions, a 3.9 GPA, a two year overseas missionary, a trustworthy and dependable teacher's assistant, and a reputation that encompasses all of this in personality characteristics. I made varsity sports as a sophomore (though that is not as "big" of an accomplishment in academys). I have an excellent grip on what I want for my future. I know what I am capable of; therefore, I know when I do not rise above what is required of me. I majored in minimums in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Personal Narrative: My Accomplishments I started my freshmen year in high school with a negative attitude and had no goals set for myself. I didn't even know if I wanted to go to college, so I didn't take anything seriously. I didn't really care about my grades or gpa. However, throughout the years, I matured immensely, and devoted myself in school. I started to care about my grades and how they reflected me. I joined clubs, and started attending tutoring to increase my knowledge. I proceeded to challenge myself by taking harder classes to raise my GPA. My junior year I set a goal to achieve straight "A's" through the whole year, which I successfully achieved through dedication. I continued to set goals for myself for my senior year. I challenged myself by taking my first AP Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Personal Accomplishment Analysis Since I was a child I have always been obsessed with cameras. It started out with always wanting to be in front of them, the main attraction. However as I grew older I became more involved in the way a camera works and the ideas and memories that they carry. When I was younger I would sometimes spend two to four hours posing in front of a camera with pliers on the back of my dress just to keep it from falling off or standing next to a child's refrigerator that was the same size as me just for one picture for a Target ad or a Fingerhut magazine that may not even end up in the advertisement. I was a child model for seven years, scouted out at the ripe age of two months where I was then thrown into the modeling industry. I learned to smile the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Personal Accomplishments One of my main accomplishments I am most proud of is earning the Outstanding Junior Male Athlete Award in grade 10. This award is presented to one individual per grade, and is earned by showing exceptional leadership, commitment and skill. Being a part of the basketball, volleyball and badminton teams, I worked very hard at maintaining a balance between my school work and my extracurriculars. I was dedicated to whatever I was doing and I was very passionate about sports, which led to my accomplishment. Another one of my accomplishments was getting my first job as a cashier for a fast food restaurant. At that time, I was shy and never liked interacting with others. However, after getting hired, I learned a lot about communication, customer service Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Personal Narrative: My Personal Accomplishments My personal accomplishment has taught me a lot about myself and who I am as a person. It taught me how much strength I actually have within myself that I never in a million years thought I had. It was hundred times more difficult that I thought it was going to be going into it. This challenge that I feel that has been an important demonstration of a personal accomplishment is when I attended a student trooper program a couple of years ago. It was back when I was seventeen and a junior in high school. It was a week long program that was basically boot camp. When i got my acceptance letter into the program I was ecstatic. I was so excited to be able to experience everything the program was going to show me. There was a list of required Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Personal Accomplishments I'm passionate about a few things in life, but primarily in helping small businesses become successful. Several years into my career, I discovered that I am a magnate for solving problems with a strong obsession for consistently striving for perfection, which works well for the companies and the people I assist. In 2012, I attended Temple University's certification program for Business Administration & Secretarial Services. This accomplishment was a staple in reaffirming my expertise as an administrative support professional. In summary, if your current setting isn't resulting in increased profits, more customers or foot track, then I am the person you call when you need "problem resolutions and cognitive thinking". • 9. Assignment 1: Personal Accomplishment 5. Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. [Revised] "Are you sure you want to do this? It's going to be a lot of work." Those were the discouraging words of our three moms as my team of two girls and myself signed the contract ensuring that we'd participate in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student of the Year Campaign. I thought a short, 7–week campaign to raise money to find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma would be a piece of cake. Cancer was also a personal subject to me since my mom recently became a victorious breast cancer survivor. December 8, 2017 was the date of our first official team meeting. I came up with our team name, "Help Is In Our Blood," which I ended up winning an award for at the grand finale. We set our initial goal of raising $5,000, but we had our doubts about achieving it. How could three high school girls raise $5,000? This was new territory for us, however, we were determined to succeed. The three of us had weekly...show more content... What set "Help Is In Our Blood" apart from the other teams was our community involvement and education. We wanted our community to hear us and want to participate. We rented out the Lido Theatre for a screening of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," we had a wine–tasting event for adults, we held a GRIT Cycle "Karma Ride," and we did a March Madness Basketball Tournament. Not every event was a big money raiser, but collectively the events reached our community and touched people. People wanted to support us. As the donations started rolling in and checks were being received in the mail, the money we raised increased and increased. It was only 2 weeks after our campaign launch and we surpassed our goal of $5,000. At our weekly meeting, our LLS advisor pushed us to bump our goal up to $15,000 and so we did. It was all very exciting and exhausting at the same Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Personal Accomplishments To accomplish anything in life, you have to start somewhere. Achievements, family life, values, aspirations and beliefs all exhibit who you are. Obstacles that I have faced throughout my life have molded me into the person I am today. Several achievements in my life define who I am as a man such as graduating top of my class in high school, and finally achieving my main goal of becoming a college student. Throughout my years of high school, college was always the number one priority for me. I excelled in the classroom not only for the sake of my family but mainly for the sake of my future. Once making it to college, I became aware of the many distractions that were surrounding me. To exceed in the classroom, I knew that I would have to limit these distractions. Parties and woman were the number one distraction for me and plenty others. Aside from these distractions, I still managed to remain focused and keep my grades up. Family is the most important thing to me aside from my schooling. Ever since I was young it was instilled in me that family was everything. My mother and father made it clear that I had to protect my sister and vise versa for her. There was no time for hatred towards one another, and if there was a problem it would be resolved whether we liked it or not. Because of that, they made my sister and I have a bond...show more content... But as I began to look into more majors that interested me, Social Work caught my eye. Being in a family of three Social Workers I thought it would be fitting for me because I saw that my relatives really enjoy the job that they do. Social Workers protect vulnerable children and support families in need of assistance. They also help people solve and cope with problems in their everyday lives. Although SpecialEducation was my first option, I felt that Social Work as a whole will allow me to leave a better impact on Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. My Greatest Accomplishment : My Family My Greatest Accomplishment My Family Traditions come and go, but some may never change. Most families attempt to keep their traditions alive in their family, whether is it be to do something small like names or something major such as huge celebrations for certain holidays. A tradition that numerous of families seems to keep around, no matter their religion or country, is family dinners on a set day. This allows the families to spend this day with each other, learning how everyone's week is going, if there is anything that needs done, or if there is any positive or negative news. A local family has a traditional family night dinner on Sundays. They keep in touch throughout the week, but on Sundays they are able to see each other face to face. Slowly, the three girls, Emily, Samantha, and Allison, are taking over cooking the meals. Their parents, grandparents, and uncles are all pitching in to help the girls learn how to properly cook various foods such as hulushki, halupki, homemade pasta, and desserts like cannolis. They are keeping with the tradition of making food to represent their heritage of being Polish and Italian. Other ways the Zaremba's represent their Italian heritage is by having the Feast of Seven Fish before Christmas. This tradition is to have seven dishes of fish for Christmas Eve dinner; the fish can vary from type of fish or if it is cooked in a certain way. Also "fish" entitles all seafood not just fish. This symbolizes a healthy Christmas. You are required to fast, not eat, the week before ridding yourself of harmful ingredients like too much sugar. Birth Announcement Denise and Chris Zaremba welcomed their third daughter into the world at 4:51 pm September 29, 2001. She weighed 7lbs and 9 oz. Her sisters aren't the happiest about having to deal with a younger sibling, but the rest of the family is astounded to have another baby in the family. Favorite Cassandra Clare has come out with a new book titled Lord of Shadows. This is her second book in The Dark Artifacts series, one of her numerous series. Other series that many people have found to be favorites are The Mortal Instruments series and The Infernal Devices series. Clare has received numerous awards for her amazing Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Accomplishments Essay Accomplishments Essay Back in the days of my childhood when I was young and free. Undisturbed of my actions and innocent as I could've been. Playing my trombone was one of my favorite things to do. Naturally, I've joined the school band to meet other talented musicians. Eventually, we've found ourselves being judged by adults and tested for greatness. It was in the midst of Spring. When the dead trees from winter were slowly revived by the gentle sunlight. I took a step down from the bus and gazed at what was a ahead of me– a challenge. As the whole group arrived at the theater, most of us were much "cooler" than I thought we would be. Many of us bragged how the competition against other bands will be nothing but I know that there Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Personal Accomplishment: Why I Was Strong? 226456 Personal Accomplishment I had won. And I was sad. I had won against the strongest kid in my class, and I didn't know what to do. The boy had bragged everyday "I'm the strongest, no one can beat me!" he'd say. One after another, students failed. Again and again. He beat me, which isn't too hard to believe. he beat me once, twice, thrice, and every number after. He'd beat me, and cheer, taking joy in my failure. I was mad. Mad that I'd lost, mad that he'd bragged. I thought, 'why is he so strong? Why am I so weak?' I had a plan though, to beat him at arm wrestling. I convinced my parents to get a pair of weights, two six pound dumbbells. Each night I'd do one hundred reps for each arm. I practiced situps and pushups. Each Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. What Is My Greatest Accomplishments Greatest Accomplishments Now, as a ghost, I can look back at all the things I have done in the past. My accomplishments, my failures, my good things, and my not so good things. In my younger days, my resume was very short, but as I grew older it was not so trivial and incomplete. It began to germinate. I think that my greatest accomplishment was getting to be the second–hand man to the emperor. It meant everything to me. It had been my dream since a very young age. To at least be important, and not so ordinary. Another accomplishment is all the voyages I led. Whenever I alighted from the boat, I felt that I had a place in this community. What is so important to me, is the trace that I left behind. The stories that would be told about me needed Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Personal Accomplishment Analysis Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself and others The view from atop of Vernon Hill, a low–income neighborhood in Worcester, MA, is reflective both of my lineage and of my current identity with aspirational academic and career goals. As Irish immigrants seeking a better life for their children, my great–grandparents moved to a three–decker house in this neighborhood. Three generations later, I drive to Worcester Academy, on Vernon Hill for my lacrosse practices. I am surrounded by upper –middle class, mostly privileged, white, families from the suburbs who have the money to support their sons to play this exclusive sport. However, as I drive down the hill,...show more content... When he speaks about his mother's homeland, I wonder about the cultural, linguistic, and social barriers that he confronts at Union Hill School as an immigrant student. Behind his masquerade of resiliency is a lonely young boy who has not been given many opportunities to grow and reach his potential. He has trouble concentrating and does not understand how studying is going to be of value to his life. When we sit together, I look at his raggedy pants that are two sizes too small and compare his outfit to my pristine private–school uniform. This image is a metaphor for discrepancies in our educational opportunities due to our different family and class backgrounds. I keep a stash of my old baseball cards in my backpack to reward Rash when he completes a challenging problem. These cards, although practically worthless to me, are riches to him. I think of all the materialistic privileges I take for granted and realize Rash doesn't even have his most basic human needs fulfilled – no warm house or loving parents and limited food to fill his hungry belly. I try to serve as a role model for Rash, but sometimes become frustrated by my limitations as I want to give him more than what my mentorship can Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Personal Statement Of My Accomplishments My accomplishments would include my high school diploma, college degree, my work accomplishments, and personal accomplishments. I'm the first in my family to receive a college degree and that alone is a great accomplishment for me. I have been fully employed since the age of sixteen and have worked in many different types of jobs while attending school. I received the title of training manager at my first job, and was in charge of training the new employees. I worked at Herman Miller for a short period of time as a temp and had better quality control and more quantity produced then prior workers. I have excelled at every job I have ever taken. • 17. Personal Accomplishment In Piano My most cherished personal accomplishment was when I won the studio awards in piano. I was awarded the studio award in piano, both for years 2014 and 2015. Indeed, this was important to me because I had worked earnestly for it. My piano teacher only gave out one studio award in piano at the end of each school year. The winner of this award was the student who she believed had accomplished the most at thepiano that year. The year of 2014 was the year that I received my first studio award in piano. At the time, I had only been playing piano for two years. Truthfully, I was surprised at my winning the studio award because though I may have improved in my piano playing from the previous year, I did not think of myself as a top piano student. The reason why is because even though I loved...show more content... There were quite a few reasons why I believe that I won for the studio award in piano for two years in a row. Though I was a third–year piano student and felt confident in my piano playing, I was extremely nervous about playing a piece for the first time in the National Federation of Junior Festivals. Yet, I ended up scoring an excellent on the National Federation of Junior Festivals held in my area at Bob Jones University. As a result, I was inspired to take risks in my music repertoire, and challenge myself. Thus, I took on the serious task of learning one of Beethoven's most famous pieces: Fur Elise. When I brought this difficult piece of music to my piano teacher to discuss the possibility of me learning it, she was a bit skeptical of my ability, since I was only a third–year piano student. Despite this doubt, she allowed me to attempt to play this difficult, and dynamic piece of music. As I continued to practice this piece, I fell in love with the energy and the beauty in the melody. In the end, I learned this piece of music by heart and was able to play it with few Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. How To Write A Personal Accomplishment A personal accomplishment that reflects my ability to succeed at Penn State is making varsity cheerleading my senior year of high school. Some people don't count cheerleading as a sport because they think that all we do is stand there on the sidelines and look "pretty", but they don't know what it takes to be a cheerleader. I got into cheerleading my sophomore year of highschool because some of my friends were trying out and I thought it'd be a nice reason to hang out with my friends after school. After the first week of cheer I fell in love with every aspect of the sport. People don't understand the teamwork and trust needed to do stunts. As a flyer, I must not be afraid to try new things and also to always trust my bases to always catch Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. My Accomplishments I have had a lot of good accomplishments in my life but this one really sticks out to me. Last year I was a vocational student and I was in a program where I could get my CNA. I never really thought I was going to be able to do it because there was so much to do in the class and so much to learn in just one year. I remember my first day of clinical's and I was really nervous. Then it went by so fast and before I knew it was my last day of clinical's and learned so much in such a short period of time. Then it was test day and I had to put all the thing's I learned about being a CNA into this test and I didn't think I was going to pass it. We didn't know are scores for a week.
