We live in an increasingly toxic environment. The body needs every support that enhanced its ability to get rid of toxins from food, water, cosmetics and sometimes, the coshes we wear.
2. You are poisoned daily by:
• What you eat
• What you drink
• The air you breathe in
• The chemicals you happily spread on
your skin
• Sometimes the clothes you wear
4. Start a Daily Skin Brushing regime.
Use a natural bristled brush/loopha
• Start from the soles of your feet.
• Brush in an upward direction
• Use circular anti-clockwise strokes on
your abdomen.
• Brush thighs, buttocks and abdomen
more than once.
5. • Brush all surfaces thoroughly, including
your back.
• From your hands, brush towards the
shoulder, first the Left and then the
Right.
• Use very gentle motion on your chest,
avoiding the nipples.
• Make sure you don’t stretch the skin.
6. • Take a shower.
• Alternate between hot and cold water.
• This will remove dead skin and stimulate
circulation.
• Dry off and rub your whole body with
natural oil, e.g. jojoba or coconut oil.
• This whole process stimulates the
lymphatic system.
7. Take a Detox Bath
• Fill your bath with hot water.
• Add 300 gm of Epsom salts (Magnesium
sulphate)
• Add 250ml of UNFILTERED Apple Cider
Vinegar.
• This is potent in drawing toxins out of the skin.
• It also happens to relieve joint pains!
9. Watermelon is 90% water.
It can help the body to flush the
kidneys, which may remove very
small stones.
It is a great source of potassium,
which would help to dissolve kidney
stones.
If you add parsley, beetroot and
lime, better still!

10. Carrots and cucumber
make a powerful
combination. They support
the kidneys in flushing out
excess uric acid as well
and other toxins apart from
supplying other major
nutrients.

11. Radish Heaven
Few foods work as well as
radish at preventing urinary tract
infections (UTIs). Drinking juice
that includes radish eases the
burning most experience during
a UTI and shortens the length of
time you’ll have to deal with the
infection.
radish juice can help dissolve stones so you can
pass them more quickly. Add celery too.
12. Bitter Herbs
• Bitter herbs assist the liver in its
detoxification function.
• The bitter taste stimulates specific bitter
taste buds at the back of the tongue.
• These in response stimulate
parasympathetic nerves,
triggering a number of reflexes.
13. • Some of these reflexes excite the
production of juices from the exocrine
glands of mouth, stomach, pancreas,
duodenum and liver, supporting
digestion, absorption and assimilation of
food and nutrients.
• One of the important juices
produced is bile from the liver.

14. St. Mary’s Thistle
(Milk Thistle)
Milk Thistle protects liver cells from damage
from a host of toxins including alcohol and
carbon tetrachloride.
It also helps to regenerate already
damaged liver cells.
15. The juice of half a lemon in hot water taken first
thing in the morning is a great way to start the
day.
It wakes up the liver making it function more
effectively.
The sour taste of lemons also triggers
nerve and hormone activation in
other parts of the digestive system.

16. Cruciferous Vegetables
The brassica family including cabbage, broccoli
and Brussels sprouts, contain glucosinolates
which contain sulphur.
The sulphur compounds protect the liver from
damage and improve its ability to
eliminate toxins and excess
hormones.
17. Dandelion has a long history of healing
ailing livers.
It contains Vitamins A, B, C, and D, and
minerals like iron, potassium, and zinc.
Dandelion root coffee is black and bitter.
It is also used to improve kidney function.

impressive anti-inflammatory activity in
the body, including the liver.

things could begin to pull your
body back from grinding to a
halt.
