The simple present in the English Language is the verb tense of the
present that expresses a habitual action, that is, habits, routines in
everyday life. It differs from the present perfect in that the latter has a
perfective aspect, and from the present continuous in that this other has a
progressive aspect. The present simple, also called the indicative, is the
simplest verb tense in the English language.
It is formed with the base form of the verb of the
infinitive. This infinitive consists of two particles: to
and the base form of the verb, so, for example, to
eat is an infinitive that means to eat.

Indicates a habitual action that is performed at a specific
moment in the present.
The main verb of the sentence is always in the present tense.
It is made up of simple elements, according to the following
structure: Subject + Verb + Complement.
