strategically and tactically in creating a comprehensive plan that will serve as the guidebook for the organization.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to take disparate requirements from multiple sources
across the organization, synthesize them into an overall plan, and work to implement this plan (both in a hands-on

Position Summary:
The Web Analytics Manager owns the comprehensive site analytic plans to measure member behavior and interactions on the Novu.com websites. To succeed in this role, a candidate must be able to think both strategically and tactically in creating a comprehensive plan that will serve as the guidebook for the organization. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to take disparate requirements from multiple sources across the organization, synthesize them into an overall plan, and work to implement this plan (both in a hands-on fashion as well as by partnering with other teams in the organization). Communication and partnership skills will be critical to be effective, as this role will become the company’s lead trusted source of website measurement and analytic strategy.
Responsibilities:
Work with other Novu teams to define their analytic needs.
Translate analytic needs into a comprehensive web measurement strategy.
Implement web measurement strategy.
Collect and report on data related to member interaction with the Novu site.
Work with Development team to define tagging strategy and implement tagging code.
Work with the Marketing team to measure campaign effectiveness for site-driven campaigns.
Work with UI/UX to measure user behavior on the site and design and implement tests.
Work with Customer Services to define and measure customer-specific needs.
Work within the Reporting and Analytics team to ensure data are collected to integrate with the data warehouse and blend well into the larger reporting and analytics infrastructure.
Define KPIs for use by executive leadership.
Become Novu’s lead authority for our current measurement toolset, as well as recommending new tools to enhance our overall web analytic capability. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
5+ years of website analytics experience; preference given to experience measuring sites with regard to individual customer or member behavior.
Substantial hands-on experience with web analytics tools; preference given to experience with Google Analytics and KISSmetrics.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work with business teams and translate requirements into analytic plans.
Ability to communicate effectively across the organization, ranging from business-oriented teams to technically-oriented teams.
Ability to think strategically and exhibit strong project management skills.
Ability to work in a progressive, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines with a positive attitude and composed demeanor.
Previous experience in working with membership programs, loyalty programs, or consumer industries with long member lifecycles is preferred.
Ability to be hands-on with data is essential; knowledge of data query languages such as SQL is preferred.
Ability to be hands-on with other tools in the analytic toolset is preferred; experience with programming languages such as Java is helpful, as is experience with an ETL process.
