• Democratic republic of congo lies in
equilateral region. The capital of drc is
kinhasa.
• The country DRC is located in central aferica.
• The climate of DRC is hot and wet.
• Drc is surrounded by nine countries they are
angola, katanga , zambia ,
gabon,cameroon,ugnda,tanzania.
• The second largest river in aferica is river
congo which flows through DRC.

aferica its flows through DRC.
• It is also called highway of the central Aferica.
• It is covered with rain forest. Its surrounded
by mountains and pleatues.
• The country have four lakes albert, edward,
kivu, tanganyika.
6. Vegetation
• Trees and plants of DRC grow very fast due to
the climate of the region it has hot and humid
climate.
• There is large variety of trees and plants.
• The trees are tall and form dense forsest . Even
the sunlight could not enter ion forest it is
very difficult to pass the forest.
• The forest remain green through out the year .
8. Wild life
• The forests of DRC are rich in wild animals
like chimpanzees , monkeys, bonobos, and
baboons and etc.
• Hippopotamus , rhinocreos and elephant are
found in marshy land of DRC.
• Lions , cheetah, hyenas , giraffes and buffaloes
are survive in grasslands.
• River and lakes are full of crocodiles ,
alligators and fish.
10. occupation
• the main occupation of the people in DRC is
farming.
• Forestry , fishing, livestock rearing are other
occupations.
• Most of the people do farming. People
cultivated are rice, maize, and casava .
• Farmers grow cash crops also like cocoa ,
coffee, cotton , tabacoo , rubber, etc. some
cash crops are exported to other countries for
being earned money.
12. Life of the people in DRC
• the country is thinly populated . most people
live in scattered villages and some peoples live
in town to work in mines and factories.
• Fish and casava is the staple food of people
live in DRC.
• There are two tribes found in DRC they are
pygies and bantu.
