This is my slide which was done when i was in Level 3, Semester 2. This slide is based on our Industrial tour to Triple Super Complex Limited, Patenga, Chittagong, Bangladesh.
2. Firstly I would like to thank my
honourable teachers and madams
for giving me such golden
opportunity to introduce myself
before this panel and for arranging
such kind of presentation which is
much more helpful for us!!!
3. This is Nitay Chand Barman and from Panchagarh. I have done
my schooling from aloakhoa model high school, college from
Thakurgaon Govt. College and now I am studying at
HSTU,department of chemistry and faculty of science Level-3,
Semester-2
Let me start by telling you
a bit about myself………………………
4. I am going to give a presentation
on…….

6. Overview of The Industry
The name of the Industry is Triple Super Phosphate Complex Limited and it
is located in North Patenga Bangladesh.
It is under the administrative control of Bangladesh Chemical Industries
Corporation(BC1C)
It was established in July, 1976 by a presidential Order.
The Technology of the industry is MECS.
The Plant Capacity is 150 MTPD.
Type of Plant is Sulphur Burning.
The Contractor of the Industry is Hitachi Zosen
7. Triple Super Phosphate is a phosphorus based fertilizer.
It is produced by the action of concentrated phosphoric acid
and ground phosphate rock.
It is generally known as calcium dihydrogen phosphate and as
monocalcium phosphate.
the structure of triple super phosphate is Ca(H2PO4)2 . H2O
It needs to have a minimum chemical content of 47% P2O5total,
42% P2O5SE, 46% P2O5SE+Citrate, and a maximum of 22 ppm Cd
and 2% Al.
TSP(Triple Super Phosphate)
8. Chemical Properties
Chemical formula : Ca(H2PO4)2 . H2O
Fertilizer analysis : 47% P2O5total, 42% P2O5SE,
46% P2O5SE+Citrate, 15% Ca
Water-soluble P : Generally >90%
Solution pH 1 to 3
12. TSP also contains 15% calcium (Ca), providing an
additional plant nutrient.
Over 90% of the total P in TSP is water soluble.
It is also desirable for fertilization leguminous crops
such as alfalfa or beams where no additional N
fertilizer is needed to supplement biological N fixation.
It is one of the cheapest sources of phosphorus
available.
Advantages
13. Over doges make environment pollute
Decline fertility of the land with its excess
usage
Sinking Supplies
Side Effects of TSP
14. As a low cost source of phosphorus, TSP is the main substitute
for Single Superphosphate in cropping blends.
The product is used mainly in blends with DAP and MOP.
It is also used in horticultural blends where the phosphorus
content needs boosting.
It is a source of phosphorus in situations where no nitrogen is
required, for example, good fallow after clover dominant pasture.
Usage
15. The TSP has got different agronomic advantages.
It a very popular source of P for quite some years.
Higher soluble in water and this means that it is
available foe uptake by plants in a more ready way.
Dissolved by soil moisture, the soil solution that I
concentrated becomes quite acidic.
Its Agricultural Use
16. TSP has excellent physical qualities. It stores, handles
and flows through all types of equipment extremely well.
Does not take up moisture in storage or in the field.
Spread very evenly.
TSP flows significantly quicker than other fertilisers,
approximately 15 to 20% faster than DAP so care must be
taken in calibration, before sowing.
