2. PATRICIA URQUIOLA (BORN 1961) IS A SPANISH ARCHITECT AND DESIGNER .
Spanish by birth, and Italian by choice, Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain and
studied architecture in Madrid before graduating from the Milan Politecnico in 1989. The
key words for her work are: rigour and emotion, innovation and mental comfort.

when he was eating calamari.

year of 1988 and is now available in a second edition. Walter Wayle II does not have a numbered dial. The clock consists
of two flowing and dynamically shaped hands. You choose how and whether to design your numbered dial.

KARIM RASHID IS A CANADIAN-AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER HIS
DESIGNS INCLUDE LUXURY GOODS, FURNITURE, LIGHTING, SURFACE
DESIGN, BRAND IDENTITY AND PACKAGING. TIME MAGAZINE HAS
DESCRIBED HIM AS THE "MOST FAMOUS INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER IN ALL THE
AMERICAS.
• Karim Rashid has created a set of aluminium bottles for drinks brand Pepsi, one of a
series of megabrands that presented in Milan this year. Working in collaboration with
parent brand PepsiCo, Rashid has created three containers for the carbonated soft drinks.
• Karim Rashid referenced the angular strokes of the letters V and K in the word vodka
when designing the asymmetric form of the Anestasia bottle, which he first began work on
in 2012.
• Karim Rashid has unveiled a Smartphone charging device that neatly stores a metre-long
cable in a loop around its outside .Ovaloid in shape, the Bump charger can be plugged into
a wall to provide constant power or used as a battery pack while on the go.
5. HANI RASHID (BORN 1958 IN CAIRO OF ASYMPTOTE ARCHITECTURE.
RASHID CO-FOUNDED THE NEW YORK BASED ASYMPTOTE WITH LISE
ANNE COUTURE, IN 1989.
Hani Rashid, one of the most interesting exponents of the “Digital Architecture”
group of young virtuoso international architects, and designer of Alessi's showroom
in New York, has also designed this small series of “desktop architecture.
