AND IDEOLOGY
Abstract forms and curves.
Free flowing sensual curves.
His design were mainly of curved architecture and is famous for revolutionary use
of concrete
His buildings are charaterised by being spacious and exposed , mixing volumes and
empty space to create unconventional patterns.
Simple structure without much ornamentation.
4. PHILOSOPHY
“ I am not attracted to straightangles or to the straight line, hard and
and inflexible ,created by man.I am attracted to free-flowing ,sensual curves.
The curves that I find in the mountains of my country , in the sinuousness
of its rivers , in the waves of the ocean , and on the body of the beloved
women. Curves make up the entire universe , the curved Universe of
Einstein”
“My work is not about ‘forms follows function ‘ but ‘ form follows beauty’
or even better ,’form follows feminine’’’

to be reaching up, open , to heaven.
Most of the cathedral is below ground
with only the 70 meter( 230ft)
diameter 42 meter(138ft) roof of
cathedral and the bell tower visible
above ground .
The sixteen concrete columns with a
very peculiar shape appear to be

represent two hands.

exterior of the church stand
four bronze sculptures, each 3m
high.
These represent the evangelist
and were made with the help of

sculpture can be seen inside the
nave ,where three angels are
suspended by steel cables
Ranging in the size from 2.22 to
4.25m long and weighing 100kg-
